March News from NinjaTrader Brokerage:
Award Winning Platform + Deep Discount Commissions

Market Data Fee Changes Effective April 1st

Beginning April 1st, there will be a $2/month increase for each exchange enabled by NinjaTrader Brokerage for market data including CME, CBOT, NYMEX & COMEX.

From email newsletter 17th March

@NT Brokerage:

Is this a CME initiated fee increase, or is this NT/CQG adding an administration fee?

The workload for managing market data entitlements has significantly increased so this nominal fee change is to offset the additional administrative expense. Other industry leaders such as TradeStation, Interactive Brokers and Trade King (MB Trading) had instituted market data fee mark ups long ago. In comparison, our pricing in most cases is much lower.

If anyone has further questions regarding their NinjaTrader Brokerage account, you can direct them to Help, Support & Training Videos | NinjaTrader.

Not a really big deal, but any word on implementing the level 1 only CME data fees? Many other brokers/FCM already have that available.

Its in our plan but requires a technical solution and there are a few items we need to put in place before we can implement this. No ETA at this time.

PM received from a member

Got this PM, but thought the comment and answer may benefit a wider audience.

My comment: yes NT uses Continuum which is an identical white label of the usual CQG available via other brokers. It is good to see that CQG are offering the Top of Book CME data option. I am already subscribed to Top of Book via AMP (my broker) and TT data feed into SierraChart. @mattz from Optimus Futures helped set that up for me and the discussion can be read over at this thread (https://futures.io/brokers-data-feeds/37386-cme-market-data-top-book-subscription-available.html). At the time CQG was not ready, but now it seems it maybe based on the link received with the PM (above).
