After CQG switched to the new CME protocol for tick data, I changed from a 2000 tick chart to a 763 tick chart. This occurred on May 3rd. Now this morning when I opened up my chart, it appears they are back to using the old protocol. (the 763 tick chart now has way too many candles). The 2000 tick chart of old seems to have returned. Does anyone know what is going on?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Update: There wasn't any data feed problem in the end. The different tick charts have to do with the migration to the new MDP 3.0 data protocol, which bundles trades and therefore shows a different tick count and behaviour than it did before. The …
