Hi,
I would be grateful of someone's experience here, I have subscribed to MultiCharts, I would like to trade the futures symbols below;

6E Mini EUR/USD
QM Mini Crude Oil
ES Mini S&P
YL 10 Year T Note

I need 10 years of minute data for backtesting the above symbols as well as a live data feed. I am in the UK. I have contacted TradeStation who offer a $20/month Globex Value Bundle but I won't have their platform with this so I don't think I can feed MultiCharts??

Can someone tell me any good options?

CQG offer the historic data but it's $1,200 per symbol which I'm sure is good value but too much for me right now.

Thanks in advance.

Dave.

If you are asking for historical data, you can find around 10 years of tick data for popular instruments in the Elite section. Go to Elite forum and look at stickies at the top of the thread list.

There is also one thread in particular which gets updated monthly with a lot of tick data.

davids9317,

check out IQFeed for the realtime data. They also give you the history (at least most of it) you are looking for. As a futures.io (formerly BMT) elite member you can also get a discount.

Regards,
ABCTG

Did you look at AMP Futures? They promote Multicharts as one of the main platforms for free, with 5 year of Historical data (Don't know if they refer to daily or minute data)
In the past they did not have a good reputation here on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) as broker, now I don't know. (I never used them).

I have an account and got their free Multicharts AMP Edition and yes, they give you 5 years of historical data, don't know if tick by tick, but 1 second I'm sure, which is enough for me. The only thing is that that data is wrong. I compared it to TradeNavigator, Ninja + CQG, and tradeview.orgIs pure mess. Already complained to their customer service, but I don't have high hopes for a solution...

My combo is Multicharts+CQG+IQFeed+AMP.
Recently I added IQFeed because the historical data from CQG was regulary missing data.
As CQG is little bit faster on my end I use it as execution feed only.
