As a lifetime license holder of Ninjatrader I am not very happy that they have used all the brokers and the people that have bought their lifetime license as a stepping stone to create their own brokerage. I know business is business but now that Ninjatrader brokerage has basically stabbed in the back the brokers that supported their platform by undercutting their prices and going after their clients.
The fact that someday eventually the only broker that will support Ninjatrader platform will be there own NinjaBrokerage sticks in my craw a lot that I have paid around $1000 for the use of a platform that was originally promoted to be used by many brokers. So in essence I feel we both have been stabbed in the back. If Ninjatrader offered to pay me back my $1000 I had paid I would be fine with that or if their broker gave back what I had paid through some sort of commission discount until my license fee is returned that would be a win win for them as they most likely would get many new clients and the clients would be happy to get refunded for getting stabbed in the back.

Hello, yesterday Friday I opened a new account in ampclearing.com and it was accepted in the same day. In the evening I request the ninja direct license and 2 hours later ninjatrader send me the license for 3 years until it expires.
Note: I have not still funded the account, I'll fund the next week. In their web they publish ninjatrader like available platform to trade, but its true they are focusing in multichart platform.

Yes, it does look like NT removed AMP along with a lot of other brokers. From what I hear AMP still supports previous clients who use Ninja though. They just aren't signing up any new clients.

Yes, when NT Brokerage started, AMP was given until March of 2015 to sign new clients. After that time no new clients will be allowed to sign up through AMP. Only through NT approved brokers.
I believe as time goes on that list will dwindle. From a business stand point it makes perfect sense.

I had been talking with APEX Brokers, and was abruptly given a March 10 deadline to sign up.
They had the advantage over other brokers of accepting ACH funding/withdrawals.
This is my understanding, if you have a CQG,Rithmic and TT license purchased before July 2014, you can switch brokers.
Any CQG license purchased before March 10 2015, you will be able to switch to another broker who can enable CQG.
I do agree that over time it will dwindle, but on the same token the use of other platforms would grow as well, now that you have so many free platforms with similar features.
