Looks like you can't use NT with ATC BROKERS...whats weird, tech support said you could until about 6 months ago, but could give no details why the support stopped.
MyFXChoice spreads are insane.
FXCM spreads are decent, and actually little better then ATC.
Back to square 1...IB min 4.00 round trip, and FXCM less then 2.00 round trip per mini lot (10k)
Looks like FXCM wins for the time being.

Ninja opened brokerage and cut loose a lot of supporting brokers. Nothing new to report as I take a break from broker shopping. Watching demo trades this week.

I think that's exactly what happen, conflict of interest...removes our choices!!

I have added another criteria:

Do the charts follow the "New York close"? Does the chart’s daily bars close at 5:00pm EST and there are 5 daily bars per week?

AXI Trader came under my radar as being a fantastic broker, BUT does not take US customers.

US Brokers, FXCM and ATC both offer the New York close on MT4 with 5 daily bars.

I'm still on the fence, no funds committed yet! I hate to give up NT.

Joseph,

Contact ninja and ask for their update on supporting forex brokers. Investing.com has a list but is outdated as Atc is listed. Believe ninja only brokers futures contracts at this time.

As for Oanda, day ends at 5 pm est. They are located on Broadway in New York on the 46th floor of multi-billions. Commissions are spread going in AND spread coming out. The weeks are partitioned neatly in the daily chart format. Scrolling with arrow keys all 4 directions and mouse click to scrunch and widen time frames. Haven't explored all the bells and whistles, but some don't function being a demo account. Impressed with the ongoing balance sheet...neatly presented and time saver for tax season.

Options for java run web browser, which I am using, or your favorite mt4. The neat of the web is you can click on the taskbar and bring up a chart in the corner as you browse the web or check your email. Demo quick to set up and they haven't bugged me not once in the first week. Your choice of leverage as is your choice of lots. Gave support a test chat and was right there at 5 in the morning. So far, I am content.

Tim

The plot thickens....

I was getting ready to create an ATC account, and I discovered my funds would actually go to FXCM. ATC is just a "front" for FXCM. Acording to the FXCM rep, both use the same data feeds, BUT why do FXCM charts (clearly seen last Friday) show unusual spikes and ATC does not?!

See post #130:

Followup:
Found the answer...ATC uses "raw data feed", FXCM uses "retail data feed", according to ATC.
Also, ATC is based out of UK and because I'm a US resident, I'm forced to have my funds kept with FXCM. Otherwise, ATC with control them if I didn't reside in the US.

I happen to have both US and European passports, dual citizenship, but residency is what matters.

Unfortunately several good options are eliminated if you are a US citizen. However the following brokers are all viable options:

At this point FXCM is out of the question. Several people are filing complaints regarding "suspicious" spikes that do not appear on any other brokers charts. Below are just the most recent:

All spikes were observed using 1 hour timeframe.

NZD/USD March 11, 2015 4:00pm EST candle. Other brokers low 0.7187. FXCM low 0.7161. 26 pip spike.
NZD/JPY March 11, 2015 4:00pm EST candle. Other brokers low 0.8723. FXCM low 0.8701. 22 pip spike.
GBP/JPY March 6, 2015 8:00am EST Candle. Other brokers low 182.06. FXCM low 181.44. 62 pip spike.
AUD/CAD March 6 2015 8:00AM EST candle. Other brokers low 0.9739. FXCM low 0.9717. 22 pip spike.
USD/CAD March 6, 2015 8:00AM EST candle. Other brokers low 1.2455. FXCM low 1.2423. 32 pip spike.
CHF/JPY March 6, 2015 8:00am EST candle. Other brokers low 122.74. FXCM low 122.17. 57 pip spike.
GBP/AUD March 3, 2015 10:00pm EST candle. Other brokers low 1.9604. FXCM low 1.9481. 123 pip spike.
EUR/AUD March 3, 2015 10:00pm EST candle. Other brokers low 1.4271. FXCM low 1.4211. 60 pip spike.

I have also sent numerous emails to FXCM, over the past 3 weeks regarding clarification on the "segregation" of clients funds in the event of a Chapter 11 proceedings. ALL have been unanswered!! Jason has not answered my question here in this forum.

The reason for the above question was because I felt ATC Brokers was a good choice for me, BUT my trading funds would be held by FXCM.

I'm presently looking at FXChoice and Sensus-Capital.
