I've cleaned my cookies out and I only have one extension. Every other website runs just fine. But whenever I open the FutureTrader71 website the home page comes up just fine. But when I try to go anywhere else it shifts everything to the right and gives no sliderbar to move any thing around. I just get a black page with the left margin on the the right side of my screen.

Cookies are not the same as the cache.

Also try hitting Ctrl-F5 a couple of times while on a problem page.

Please email FT71 info@futurestrader71.com for further help. This thread is an AMA for Stage 5 and your issue is off-topic. You will likely need to provide a screenshot for him to be able to help.

Thanks.

Just wanted to voice my appreciation for S5's Anthony, Max and the rest of the team for there great work setting me up and supporting me in my move to futures from stocks which coincided with a move from London to Melbourne!

It hasn't been an easy setup either as I'm based in Melbourne with issues of latency with orders and prints in the DOM. I like to trade 'at the edge of my seat' type setups looking for pressure points on reversals, breakouts and stop runs etc and so it was crucial I had a low ping ms time. The guys were MORE than accommodating knowing that my orders routing to Chicago from my PC and onto the Eurex exchange and back would take a while (on scalping terms!). They recommended to me good alternatives with VPS/Co-location solutions and even a partnered data vendor that now allows me much faster print/execution speed.

We are almost there but I really felt the need to sing the praises of these guys to the high heavens. They're trustworthy, supportive and downright cool guys.

Don't hesitate to give Anthony or Max a call and hear how they can help you out!

I know you mentioned Dorman, but what other FCMs are available through S5 Trading? Couldn't find the info on your website. Thanks.

@Sg7JR!!

My apologies for the delay in this reply. For some reason I missed this post. Very sorry about that. Two year late is better than never....I hope. :/

Stage 5 works with the following FCMs: Dorman Trading, GAIN Capital Group, Ironbeam, Philliip Capital, and we have some other relationships that are available to us if need be. As an Independent Introducing Broker, we are able to work with many different FCMs which all have different strengths. This gives us the opportunity to customize a trading solution that hopefully best fits each traders unique needs.

I think this is the wholesale - retail business model at its finest. It is very similar to a mortgage broker that can offer loans from many different banks. The mortgage broker specializes in providing customized one on one services allowing them to find one of the best loans available per that individual's scenario (LTV, Credit Score, Income, Net Worth, etc.). Each bank has a different portfolio that creates opportunities with specific loans. Since banks are wholesalers they also don't have the infrastructure to service people individually. Where the mortgage broker's job is based on servicing individuals. A person can walk into a B of A and receive a higher rate than the same loan the mortgage broker can provide. This retail model incentives service. The individual is provided with a better loan, better experience, and better rate than the wholesaling bank can provide. The best part is that the bank then pays the mortgage broker for introducing the business, which I think is a win-win-win.

Stage 5 has multiple clearing relationships to do the exact same. We can offer a wide array of platforms and data feeds. In fact, the S5 Trade Analyzer was created using CQG/Continuum for that exact purpose. This way any trader that uses a platform with CQG/Continuum data can use the S5 Trade Analyzer for free!

I hope that helps and please let us know if you have any questions or we can help with anything further.

Thanks,
Anthony

Hey Anthony

I'm a new member in this forum and highly interested in trading futures. I'd like to start trading with Sierra Charts platform and has been adviced by experienced traders to chose your company for trading. I'm just in learning curve, particularly I'd like to trade Light Sweet Crude Oil futures trying to implement trading methods. What would be your advice? And I'd like to know wich kind of commissions and how much I have to pay for it, what is the pricing for services of Stage 5, using Sierra Chart Service Package 5? What is recommended minimum account size to be eligible to trade without margin calls and etc.?

And please take into consideration, that I'm not US or EU citizen. I'm citizen and resident of Republic of Armenia. Does it make obstacles of having account in Stage 5? What kind of information I have to provide to open account and be able to start trading?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Tinwoodman,

It is great to hear from you and even better to learn about the nice words and recommendations you heard about Stage 5 from other community members and traders like yourself! Members involved in the Stage 5 community are the whole reason we are hear and talking today. The development of the community is a pillar of Stage 5's values and it has been great watching it grow to the point it is today. For me, it is even more exciting to see where the community evolves from here. My goal, is to continue to provide as much support and resources possible to help the community reach its goals. It has been great watching members reactions to the S5 Trade Analyzer Cloud go live. Very exciting to think that this is only the first iteration....where will it and the rest of the community be in a few years!??! This is something I am extremely excited to see.

Since you are new to futures, I personally would recommend practicing as much as possible to get a feel for the platform, execution, and trading plan you want to implement. There is no rush to get in to live trading, and I think the more time you can spend working on your plan in demo, the better! The markets are not going anywhere and neither are we, so when the time is right to go live you will know. At that point, I think trading the Micro Currency - M6E Euro FX, is a great way to transition from sim to live money before trading with the extreme leverage if bigger futures contracts.

Sierra Charts Package 5 can be purchased directly from Sierra Chart's website, currently package 5 starts at $33 per month. The S5 Trader is compatible with Sierra Chart, so the real time data you are paying for with your S5 Trader can connect and power Sierra Chart without additional charges. This provides you with the free S5 Trader Desktop, S5 Trade Analyzer, S5 Mobile Trader, and S5 web trader platforms for free.

Stage 5 commissions are extremely competitive. As a broker we align ourselves with our traders and understand that commissions or some of the biggest overhead of trader's businesses. With that being said, it is our fiduciary responsibility to provide lower rates as volumes grow. Most importantly we try to help you get exchange memberships to cut down costs lower once your volume warrants the business case. All areas we should be walking through together as partners.

I believe a Stage 5 broker has already reached out to your regarding commissions and other fees associated with an account. If not, feel free to contact us here: https://stage5trading.com/contact/ Just let us know you are Tinwoodman from futures.io and we will provide you with the customized brokerage solution you are looking for.

I don't foresee other obstacles in opening an account as a resident of the UK. I am sure our new accounts department will be able to provide you with more detail regarding the account opening processes. They will likely require a copy of a government issued photo ID as well as a proof of address document like a utility bill for address verification, but other than that, you will hopefully enjoy a nice and easy account opening process. We are here to help walk you through the account application process as much as possible. Don't be shy....we are here to help! If you would like to start the application process you can do so here: https://stage5trading.com/open-an-account/

I hope this helps. Please let us know what you think, if you have any questions, or how we can better assist you in fulfilling your brokerage goals.

Thanks and have a great day!

Best,

Anthony Giacomin
