I have seen nothing yet in regards to using this as a data provider....any comments? This seems to be the lowest cost option with Amp....anyone using ttnet as a data provider?? It appears that you can trade eurex products as well with no extra fees except for the monthly lease from NT.

The way I understood it, if your account is with Mirus/RCG and you want to stay with RCG, you have to open a new account with RCG directly.

If you want to stay with Mirus, you will need a new account with Dorman.

At RCG, you will have the new NT/Continuum platform, technically the same as NT/CQG with data and orderrouting.

With Dorman, your NT/Continuum setup will need Kinetick for market data.

I can't comment on the requirement of opening an RCG account again if you are already there but the rest of the summary is accurate.

But there doesn´t seem to be any backup solution. With CQG you have the webtrader and with Rithmic you have Rtrader as backup. So if anything goes wrong, you´ll have to rely on the emergency trade desk.

That´s the info I got from RCG yesterday, new account application necessary.

I agree. I think after the weekend more news will come out about different solutions for Ninja Trader clients and where Rithmic will be available.

Just wonder if somebody is considering moving to Dorman/Rithmic.
Regarding to Dorman- Rithmic will be up and running at Dorman by Monday. Seems to be an interesting option, certainly for the Mirus /Dorman clients...
Will wait for the weekend anyway.

Any thoughts?

Does that mean that clients with an RCG account will be able to use Continuum without having to open another account at Dorman? Or will we have to use another service than Continuum if we chose to stay with RCG?

We are working on R20 that will include an updated Continuum adapter that no longer has a Kinetick requirement for market data. What this simply means is that Continuum will provide both trade routing services and market data services. It will be available at all FCM's that offer Continuum (RCG for example) excluding Dorman.

NinjaTrader TT does not support historical data, ICE (excluding TF) and no overnight positions. The feed however is unfiltered.

Hi All,

I do realize how frustrating and confusing Zen-Fire/Mirus issue has been for you. A few things...

First, I am going to try and create a webinar later today to provide our clients at Mirus/Zen-Fire with an account of the situation and options for continued use of NinjaTrader

Second, and this is an important one... We are going to update the Continuum adapter to remove the requirement of Kinetick. What this means is that Continuum will provide both market data services and order routing services. Continuum is a division of CQG and the technology is solid and has been in use for many years by thousands of clients.

This new update (R20) It will be available at ALL FCM's that offer Continuum (which is a lot) excluding Dorman. Dorman will have access to R19 and earlier which requires Kinetick. Why is that you ask? Not my decision, a lot of behind the scenes deals being made.

For RCG users being asked to switch to Dorman, you will not have to change if you wish to continue using NinjaTrader with a solid solution.

You know what sucks Ray?

Us little guys reporting issues to your team. Not minor issues - I mean REAL issues that affect people that actually trade live accounts.

- eSignal data issues
- IB market depth feed showing incorrect numbers in Ninja
- IB market depth connections not dropping when using onMarketDepth

And you know what the answer has been for the last 6 months? None.

If you do push for an answer and all you get is "we'll look at this in NT8".

This is the NT8 that you guys were talking about being out at the end of 2013. Right now you have no planned date - not even a planned year.

So here I am with a medium sized user community - most of them on your platform, many of them using Ninja because I convinced them to. Here we are, reporting bugs, then getting the mushroom treatment from your organisation.

Then this Zenfire thing happens, and your team jumps all over it. All of a sudden it's FIX NT7 time.

How about you put your balls on the line and commit to a release date?

Either that or get people working on quality issues that still exist in NT7. With NT8 not even in beta yet, you must be at least 12 months away from production product - you can't possibly ignore all 'small guy' issues till then.

If you have any questions about the products or services provided, please send me a Private Message or use the futures.io " Ask Me Anything" thread

@DionysusToast

I have great respect for you but I think you are off topic and out of line, not to say your issues are not valid, i just think you are not in the right place at the right time. Just my 2cents.
