This thread is no longer "Zenfire No more?" and turning into a self promotion media for filling the Zenfire misfortune gap. Wonder how long @Big Mike will allow this to go on.

Linda R is a well respected old timer, not known for being (or desperately need to be) a territorial opportunist.

People just look for alternatives, discuss and assure one another what is available.
None of us allow as vendors allowed to place links or claim we are "best"

On a personal note and I speak for myself, I am very sad for a firm that build such an awesome reputation and going through this.

Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. You may lose more than your initial investment. All posts are opinions and do not claim to be facts. Please conduct your own due diligence. Use only Risk capital when trading Futures.

As client from Mirus / Zenfire and NT i have been looking for other firms especially for trading the dax. One of the compagny''s, CANNON TRADING, phoned me 2 times and they offered me trading the dax at a flat rate of 4$ roundturn, no extra data fees or other fees (as connexion fees for Eurex )and thru CQG.
I am still awaiting other firms to contact me ( they promised to Phone me ) to see what they offer.

I am making no publicity for Cannon trading. This is just an expierence and info would like to share for those looking to trade especially the dax.

https://www.cannontrading.com/

just my 2 cents

Big Mike closed other topics related to the issues with Mirus Futures and directed OPs to this thread. And since Mirus has been so silent on this thread, it's not surprising to find users looking for alternatives to get out of the predicament.

Yes this thread is going in all directions, including the promotion of competing firms, but that can be seen as a welcoming addition to the void left by Mirus Futures (No updates at all on their twitter account or on their blog). The alternative might have been plenty of smaller threads where OPs vent their misfortune.

I don't see how the behavior can be classified as "territorial opportunist" when quite a few members have voiced their desire to find an alternative.

Thank you. I only joined into this thread once someone has asked me a question here and mentioned me.

Hi Gang!
Just to let you know, my husband's firm, FuturePath Trading can do Ninja -Rithmic at multiple FCMs - they are an IIB who clears KCG (Knight), Vision, FCStone, NewEdge, Dorman, and a few others - so....plenty of options. Super rates. They can also offer Photon Trader, Multi Charts, Trade Navigator, CQG, TT....... if you want to consult about assorted options and connectivity solutions to keep your Ninja, Damon is happy to help.
I became a client of FuturePath back in 1999 for my CTA, and have been doing all my execution there ever since. Damon used to do my execution in the SP pit back in 1991...and 4 years ago I went from being a happy client of his to a happy wife :-)
Please feel free to email him at [email protected], even for the most simple of questions. or, visit FuturePath Trading's website.
I have been through so many disruptions over my career, from the time the Chicago river flooded the basements of the clearing firms (they all shut down for three days), to 911 when my trade desk was through Refco's office one block from the WTC, to Refco's demise, then MFGlobal's demise....yup, am still waiting for funds back from them. Part of the business, but an unfortunate stressor. In the menatime, I wish everyone the best for a positive upbeat 2014 going forward!
Linda Raschke

@LindaR

On your Website FuturePath Trading | Online Futures Trading there is no info about Dorman. Will you update your site or is it even for existing traders clearing via Dorman?

hi
came to nobody to mind thought of the embedded advertizing around Mirus Futures / zenfire / bigtick, as you know bad things are more attracted to people ;-)

* If investing gets too difficult for a seventh grader to understand, the system is needlessly complex
* Markets produce an enormous volume of information, much of which is redundant
* In every game and con there's always an opponent, and there's always a victim. The trick is to know when you're the latter, so you can become the former

I think it is the best way you can get information.

I know that the thread theme talks about zen-fire no more BUT because of the really bad mirus support and the suddenly upcoming meltdown, I am really glad to have ppl like @mattz here to offer alternatives!

And it is all in just one thread. No need to look around and search for more and more information about other solutions. Time is money and why not pushing it all in one thread. Keep on going guys!

Hello Big Mike and Everyone,

I have seen how some here have had order entry failures lately. I wanted to let you and everyone know that I am in a position to help. If any are interested in setting up a back-up account or in transferring their account to me I am a Branch Manager with FuturePath Trading, LLC, a Chicago-based brokerage. We are an Independent Introducing Broker with agreements with numerous FCM’s. For Ninjatrader users like me, we have fast, fully operational data and order entry connectivity, including ICE data at no charge, available right now. USA-based as well as International clients are welcome just the same.

My approach is to make a difference for the better. So, I do my best to help my clients any way I can.

To get moved over fast or get to know more I can be reached on the phone at (517) 358-6988.
