I am wondering that I need only an order execution feed. I ve IQ feed data feed so I do not understand why to pay an extra feed. I only want to use my RCG and my Dorman account.

Hi @resist,

I wish I could be notified when anybody types "IQ". Just happened to be catching up on this thread and saw your post.

We have other IQFeed/NT subscribers trading their Dorman account through NT, and another feed is not necessary. Dorman participates in the Globex exchange fee waiver program so if you have questions regarding the process please PM or email me.

Robert

Once your limit order is in the orderbook at the exchange waiting for execution, your broker or platform have nothing to do with the probability of it getting filled or not.

Whatever the case it was a pretty awesome fill ;-)

Not true.

The queue it came to matters if the market did not go below limit price. This is latency and it matters for limit orders.

In this case the market did not go below the limit price. I bought the low tick of the bar.

Ok, but thats before the order is at the exchange, how fast you get it sent, so that you have a better postion in the orderbook. that matters if you´re scalping, but if your sending your limit order well ahead of time with your limit some distance from the market, i doubt a tenth of a second or less will make a difference 99 percent of the time.

I´m with Mirus/RCG too, would be interesting to know how that works. I thought Iqfeed is only for data, how can you route trades with them?
