Thanks @asiaexport and @FBJS.
And which broker/FCM would you suggest?

Pete

I have been skyping with 2 trader friends every day for several months now--they both use amp/cqg and they are very happy with it.. SO i opened an account there.

As several users of this thread already wrote, I am wondering as well why no one from Zenfire gives us an answer

- what happened
- what Zenfire is doing now
- how long a solution could take (how long we have to wait)

Instead the competitors have all time to fish all Zenfire users. After several years of good services from Zenfire
this is really a quite bad information policy so far. I am convinced that Zenfire had the intention to improve the service but this went wrong.

I am wondering why Zenfire is not able to restore the former solution with Rithmic.
This should be possible within 1 or 2 days; and then Zenfire has time for the new solution till end of 2014.

And of course there is also a responsibility of Rithmic for all Zenfire customers because these customers paid Rithmic as well over years.

I am absolutely sure that the Zenfire people read this thread. It's up to you to save your company now.
And to reinstall the good service we all had till end of December.

And Rithmic should not forget that they are also responsible for that mess if they do not continue the cooperation with Zenfire.

i was on the kinetic page earlier--they said they were flooded with new account requests--etc... so I suspect that many Mirus clients have been going for the new Continuuem offer.

Yes but the continuum offer is with Dorman, and 5 years ago they refused to open an account for me... because I'm from Quebec... So I ended up with RCG.

many clearing houses will not take foreign nationals as clients-- money laundering thing. I live in thailand and have to provide proof of address before I can open an account anywhere.

But that was 5 years ago--you can always try again

Do you have to purchase Kinetick if you use Continuum with RCG too? Or is that just a Dorman requirement?

My understanding is that yes u have to sign up with kinetic at 55$ per month--CME exclusion--but mirus will pay for the first 2 months--credit your account

Using AMP/CQG now, no complaints... but others have a longer track record with these FCMs, I was mainly with Mirus. I've heard good things about Optimus, you could try them out too.
