thanks @gain247

here's the same from website:

https://ninjatrader.com/

I especially like this part:

"It has also come to our attention that some purposely "confusing" messages have been distributed to traders in recent weeks"

and again, the disconnection with rithmic is very positive for zen-fire. they got something better now

Agree, great news and good on Mirus for finally publishing a client newsletter that attempts to dispel all the mis- information.

The only thing they are silent on is BigTick, with these enhancements to ZF I can't see what purpose BigTick serves as ZF can now do everything BigTick was promoted for.

Also Zenfire sounds a lot cooler than BigTick.....

Perhaps big tick was a way for mirus to negotiate changes in zenfire?

It is my understanding that Mirus is ZenFire just different division.

with these enhancements to ZF I can't see what purpose BigTick serves as ZF can now do everything BigTick was promoted for.

The Mirus CEO mentioned a couple other Bigtick features in his webinar may Zenfire still may not have after the update, such as something called "dynamic data distribution", which supposedly allows your market data to adjust in real-time based on how robust/reliable your system/connection is at any given time.

My educated guess is that new ZF is what they were marketing as BigTick, and I don't see any references to BigTick on Mirus's website anymore. Also I suppose they have now expanded that BigTick to support RCG customers as well. ZenFire is a well known brand, so I think they just decided to reuse it.

I'm pretty sure mention of BigTick will be soon gone from that website too.

I have upgraded my ninja and can connect to zenfire with no issues.

So now by default all my orders will be held on server? If so that' s an awesome new feature.

I can also logon to the webtrader with my mirus account-- my bigtick demo account also still works.

oops just got message--ninja trader application has stopped working

I posted this in futures.io (formerly BMT)s Sierra forum already:

Zenfire-Mirus will not support Sierra charts anymore.

(and as it seems independently - Rithmic will also stop Sierra support)

I am so sad, since Sierra+Zenfire was the best combination for me.
