No, that's not what they are doing. Commissions are nowhere to be found on their website. I had to email them and the info they gave turned out to be wrong when I emailed second time for some extra detail (same person answered both). If it was on their website I wouldn't have to spend my time on this and wouldn't depend on the answering person to be knowledgeable enough to provide accurate info from the first go. There's nothing upfront about this.

You are mistaken and they are very busy ...

good day.

No offense guys, but don't you think that how particularly AMP calculates / charges commissions and fees should be discussed in the appropriate thread ?

https://futures.io/brokers-data-feeds/18384-amp-futures-amp-global-review-9.html

Good Idea. I put the Amp calculator over there along with my own configuration example of rates. Please lets keep this thread to Zenfire No More.

That is not the All In rate. The rate you pay is $1.00 a trade higher than what they show.

AMP charges a $1.00 clearing fee per trade that other brokers like Optimus do not charge and that is NOT in their calculator.

Can any AMP client confirm that? if that's the case AMP has the highest commission rate among the competing discount brokers, I hope that is not the case.

AMP comm.
YM 1 R/T
Platform:x_trader (tt/net)

Exchange 2.28
NFA 0.04
Clearing TT/Net 0.50
XT fee 1.00
AMP Comm. 0.50

Total: $4.32

rgds
swicth

Your commission is $1 higher than with Sierra Chart because you use X-Trader, X-Trade charges $1 per trade (round turn), which is in the line that says "XT fee 1.00", for Sierra Chart platform, it would be $3.32, i.e. $1.66x2=$3.32, exactly as it is shown in AMP comm calculator.

I have not attempted to contact Mirus until this morning with a email, but have any Mirus customers been in talks with them? Seems hard to reach them via phone as it picks up their voice mail. I don't expect a email from them until next week obviously but what are they saying if any Mirus customers here can share?

From my understanding Mirus/Dorman will have Continuum and Kinetick as a solution, is that all there is to know at this time?

Sorry if this has been discussed I have been away for quite some time and just found this all out in the last 2 days.

Hi Danny. Yes, it's been "stormy" week, to say at least. Long story short, Mirus zenfire stopped working (scaleability issues) and for the time being Mirus has offered the following alternatives, if your account is cleared by Dorman:

- NinjaTrader on Continuum
- Sierra Charts on T4
- MarketDelta Trader on CQG
- InsideEdge Trader on CQG or T4

If your account is with RCG, you either stay with Mirus and move to Dorman as FCM or elect to stay with RCG as your broker without Mirus. Mirus is now only with Dorman. There is also more information on Ninjatrader Support boards here NinjaTrader Support Forum (see especially "News and Announcements" section.

Hope all works out eventually!

Hi Danny,

Last I heard Ninja will put out a V20 that will allow Mirus to connect to Continuum without the Kinetic feed. I have not heard any time frame for that change.

Steve

Are you sure?

NinjaTrader Will Release Updated Continuum with Market Data (Kinetick not required) - NinjaTrader Support Forum

As far as I can tell Dorman/Mirus have been EXCLUDED from the new Continuum deal that does not require Kinetick

You sure about that? Can someone trading with Amp confirm that? According to the calculator I thought they charge 1,66 per side for the YM with SC/AMPttnet setup?

Yes, I am sure. It started showing up on my statement when they opened AMP Clearing.

I was an AMP client so I can confirm it.

This is a part of my statement from earlier in the year. They charged $0.50 a side for 'clearing'. This image shows 2 RT. It just started showing up on my statement. I wish I could show you the response I received
after questioning the fee, but they never replied.
