I know but that is not important. Your ping to the server is important.

If you have a package loss or a bad ping, Zen-Fire will disconnect.

OK --I just wish that NT could deal with it in a more graceful manner.. Every time I have to end NT task and restart Ninja it connects to zenfire right away. Yet trying to disconnect through the control center ends up in a hang

Did you get that email from Mirus in the last day or so to upgrade to v17? They said it was a mandatory update.

You can deactivate connection on startup.

Contact Mirus for that.

FYI: I downgraded after that update because I got serveral problems.

Still wondering why there is no official update on NT available...

I am not sure if i understand you right.

It just stops to autoconnect after start of NT. So you need to connect to your datafeed manually.

No idea if that helps.

Yes that helps if zenfire is not available. that is really not the jist of my problem--my problem is when i lose zen and only way to get it back is to restart ninja

Talk to NinjaTrader support.

Send them an email via control center.

I updated and things are running fine for me. I didn't check the release notes on why it was mandatory because then I would have to login to NT's site. Last time there was a mandatory fix it was to update the expired SSL socket certificate. But Mirus should have all the details too. I wasn't sure if this was a new problem in the past couple of days or an existing one. I have had disconnect issues like that in the past but its been pretty stable for the last 4 or 5 months.
