Tip

Make certain you are comparing the all-in fee. For example, if a broker were to charge a "clearing fee" that other brokers do not, and it may not be extremely clear if they break it out separately from "commission".

Also get the all-in fees in writing. All-in means total deducted from your account, not just commission.

Last, always double check your statements carefully, examine all fees, and make sure you are receiving what you were quoted.

Mike

exactly, there are so many fees out there and commissions are being advertised so many different ways.. can get confusing. i will try to compile a breakdown for all the brokers out there if i come around doing a detail study, but i'm hoping someone has already do that and can share !

Like you were told, look at your statement.
Your studies will never be conclusive without a live account.

Matt

Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. You may lose more than your initial investment. All posts are opinions and do not claim to be facts. Please conduct your own due diligence. Use only Risk capital when trading Futures.

Just posting a snippet from my other thread in case any brokers can beat the commissions

What im paying now and comparing with Market for CME -

Present / Competitive Rates Offered
Commission: $2.6 / $1.3
Clearing Fee: $1.2 / $0.0
Exchange Fee: $2.0 / $2.28
NFA Fee: $0.4 / $0.4
Transaction Fee CTS T4: $1.0 / $1.0
Total / RT: $7.2 / $4.62

Difference - $2.58 / RT

In effect im on $7.2 RT and im getting $4.62 RT from other firm.

Any membership options anyone has explored with CME and is reasonably priced for 200-300 volume pm in Euro Fx
