I think NT7 has both 32 and 64 bit, at least the beta did.

Ninja Trader 7 is both 32 and 64 but, but when i try to run the 64 bit version, i get an error message that Zen-fire is compatible with 64 bit.

They are still working out the bugs with the 64 bit Zen data feed I think.

from Ray on Ninja forum re: 64bit Zen-fire:

"NinjaTrader codes directly to the underlying trading engine of Zen-Fire. This was done many years ago. This lower level API does not currently support 64-bit. The Zen-Fire API in comparison which supports 64-bit, is relatively new and would require us to re-write our Zen-Fire adapter which is about a three month project from start to finish. Our priority is to get NinjaTrader 7 out the door and we do not wish to introduce any critical projects that would delay this any further than it has already. "

I thought, "I'm having a great day, let me try this new untested software..."
I get this error for both 64bit and 32bit versions:

For those who don't know it yet, you have to modify your ZF connection parameters for 64 bits:

Anyway, it doesn't change anything, same error message for me too in 32 and 64.

Sam,

Please uninstall B21, then re-install. For some reason, the installer is not ovewriting the underlying DLL's. Uninstalling removes these DLL's and thus a new install will add the correct DLLs back. Your user data will not be negatively impacted.

Thanks Ray, uninstall/reinstall has fixed the problem.
