FR5050, I have some special deals to announce as part of our 1-year anniversary coming up in June. I'll be sharing more details in the coming weeks. We'll start with that, and then go from there.

Did anything come of FR5050's idea for a futures.io (formerly BMT) member's rate at Mirus?

Wow, that was a fast response! Thanks.

I'm already at Mirus, and saw this thread, so was hoping for some good news. I'm paying $4.40 RT on ES, and was hoping to get sub $4. Do just 100 turns a month, and it really adds up!

My gut tells me Mirus does not offer special pricing. But I could be wrong. They do offer tiers, so you should inquire about that, but unless you are doing a lot more trades it probably won't make a difference.

If you are happy where you are, you should probably stay.

AMP is now an FCM so they are at an advantage now imo over Mirus (AMP Global Clearing). I like trading through FCM's for the most part even though I have many accounts at various brokers.

Have they become a clearing FCM or a non-clearing FCM?
A clearing FCM would give them an advantage.

Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. You may lose more than your initial investment. All posts are opinions and do not claim to be facts. Please conduct your own due diligence. Use only Risk capital when trading Futures.

This is a good move on their behalf! BUT, this does not mean they are exchange members.
I assume (and I could be wrong) that they still have to go through an FCM that has seats on the exchange.
As a non clearing FCM they could still attract other IB's, get interest on the funds, etc
But, on the admin side, they would need to develop a very strong back office for, etc.
on the home page of their FCM, there is one platform, so I guess Ninja helped a little LOL

Never the less, this means growth, and I am happy for them. They are definitely making the right moves!
