I have a funded IB account. In trying to keep costs low, for the time being I'm using IB as my data feed. My account is only enabled to trade stocks.

I want to Sim trade CL (or other futures) with Ninja in an IB paper account. Does anyone know if this is possible without my funded account being set up to trade futures?

I download cl level1&2 for trading replay without being connected to my broker on NT. I don't believe there is a way to trade live price action without being connected.

I don't think you can as the paper trader is a mirror of the live account. I'd suggest you ask IB directly though.

As far as the feed goes, why don't you fund an account at another broker. All you need to do is put in the minimum funds required and use the datafeed for free or pay a token amount?

I think it is, you won't see instruments you're not allowed to see from your live account.
But it takes 2 minutes to test, that's what the OP should do.
