Anyone here have a Zenfire dev account -- are they disabled over weekend?
I have a Zenfire dev account, currently waiting for my live trading account which I hope to receive sometime later in the week. I logged on with the Dev account without any problems, but using both the C++ API as well as the beta webserver (https://beta.zen-fire.com), I can login no problem, but I can't look up any symbols. I logged into my Ninjatrader Demo and the last trade was at 13:41. Wondering if they disable Sim / dev accounts over the weekend.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I can get into ZenFire fine on a Demo/Sim account via NT and download chart data. But when I just tried, I cannot get into their Web based beta site, although I could on Friday.
They do perform maintenance regularly in the weekend.
I was able to connect to Zenfire through NinjaTrader last night and I can log onto the https://beta.zen-fire.com application. However, when I try to lookup ticker symbols though the web apps, I get a "failed to process query" message. If I enter a bogus ticker symbol, I get something like "invalid product" or "invalid query". So it's recognizing my queries as valid products, it's just not giving me any quotes. When I use the API, it just times out, but I can logon no problem. It's probably something with my account. I only got it a couple days ago. I e-mailed Zenfire support. I will post an update if I find out anything.
Update: I just found out from Pat at Zen-Fire (I am really impressed that he responded in 3 minutes on a Saturday afternoon!) that the exchange closes the dev accounts on the weekends. Have to do all development during the week. No problem for me.
