I was wondering why they do not have mini and micro accts for the futures like they do for forex? It would be real nice for a smaller percentage trade to be able to use say 2 half lots instead of either just 1 lot or having to use 2 full ones.
There are some, such as CME FX micro currencies (1.25/tick) and mini-oil (QM), mini-gas (QG), mini-gold (QO), mini-silver (QI).
If you want micro sized indices, you need to remember that the E-mini's (ES, YM, TF, NQ) are already micro sized compared to their full sized brethren. To go smaller, you need to step out of futures and back to ETF's.
