Has someone experience with using AMP as a broker and receiving quote data from CQG via API?

In other words getting data directly from CQG into your proprietary program and NOT via NinjaTrader?

Does AMP charge for API access (per month or single charge)?
Is the feed reliable?

(I looked into AMP site but it's not really clear with respect to this. Also I'd like to get some independent opinion.)

As far as I know (having used both AMP-CQG and CQG IC) the API is only available for CQG IC customers. CQG IC is quite expensive though.

Edit: Also AMP-CQG (Ninjatrader) data is not nearly as fast as real CQG data.

There is a CQG Trader API for real-time data and order routing, and a CQG IC API, which also includes historical data.

I have a enabled CQG API for my AMP Account. For any API informations you must direct call or mail to CQG.

For enable the API for youraccount, you can call/mail AMP if you well parallel use CQG-API + a other tools (i have CQG-API + Ninja/CQG). Its work, up to this time i dont have live run a tool for real check the quality... first the function, then use direct API speed)

Yes, and, surprisingly enough, it is for enterprises....

Continuum is what NinjaTrader & MarketDelta (soon) uses. It is an enterprise solution for data and/or order routing.

I wasn't aware it was available already. Now they only need to combine MD Trader and MD Charts...

Source? What do you base this on?
