Yes, I have but thought it was my computer. I use Better Renko and I had to "repair database" several times to get rid of the huge gaps. It was awful.

Years ago I used PFG and in volatile markets the lag was horrible. Really made things untradeable so I switched brokers and feeds and could not believe how much better. There are better options out there imo.

"The day I became a winning trader was the day it became boring. Daily losses no longer bother me and daily wins no longer excited me. Took years of pain and busting a few accounts before finally got my mind right. I survived the darkness within and now just chillax and let my black box do the work."

Thank you all. I was not alone then. I could not trade anything the past few days due to data delays and not trusting data feed. Also, I was reading the other day that most brokers halted S&P mini, TF, CL, and several other instruments with huge delays and increased margins 2-3 fold.

I am thinking about switching to TOS. I have their demo through TDA and seemed flawless the past few days.

Might want to dig into that a bit more, do more research. I've seen a lot of posts on the forum saying TOS is one of the slowest data feeds.

PFG has one of the worst data feeds I have ever seen in the industry especially during news events. Their futures data is useless, its dropping on average about 30 to 50% of ticks depending on symbol and time of day, and lags by more than 10 minutes (YES i said 10minutes! have video to prove it ) sometimes compared to DTN (which is great) or even Tradestation (which is also useless).

Add to that a horrible slow service and high commissions, STAY AWAY FROM PFG AT ALL COSTS. Its a bucket shop.

PFGbest - Built by farmers for farmers.

I have PFG for over a year now and I don't have any problems at all. I've heard that they have horrible data and I took ZenFire demo for 30 days to compare. It looks exactly the same.

If you have data delayed 10 mins your connection is not set properly.

About fees. It's $5 rt all in for e-minis and $6 for other electronics. You can find chipper company for sure, but I don't think it's very expensive.

Huge plus with PFG for me that it's international company and you can move where ever you want without switching broker, or you can speak any other language. Also I find their customer service pretty good.
I've heard that some company give you better price, but if you have a problem it takes for ever to solve it.

Vovan,

I would have to agree with you. In my experience, they are one the best as far as customer service and fees ( and I have had accounts with many brokers during the past 35 years). I have been with them 4 years now and I can't really complain about service or data. It has been just the last week that I had data problem with some of the CME contracts.

Big Mike, thanks for the warning about TOS, my experience with TDA has been great for many years.
