I was hoping to have this data as part of workspace I'm creating within MultiCharts, but my data provider does not offer these. If anyone has these indexes, please share the data source.
I've been seeing this data through stockcharts.com and I did indeed find it on Bloomberg too. Any idea as to what their data would cost? Think IB might have the BDI or BDIY? I've been meaning to check, but have not had the time...

I have had this data from somewhere other than BBG, so there is still hope.
But, tbh, EOD is perfectly fine. I mean you don't need to know the data realtime if you don't know where the capesize are and the suezmax are (I mean the actual ships, not the rates), or what the rates are and the oil contango, then weekly is fine.
There was a period about 2 years ago maybe where the baltic was making alot of headlines, but it's 15 mins of fame have passed for the next decade if you ask me.
I do remember it being the cat's meow a couple years ago alright. That is probably why it made my "list" of macro indicators to consider when I finally build some sort of macro "strategy", which I'm now attempting to do...
