Pourquoi tu ne lui propose pas de changer la langue, comme ça tu pourrait profiter aussi. D'ailleurs, c'est probablement un Wallon, et c'est bien connu que les Wallons pensent à l'envers*). Si nous écrivons en Anglais, ça veut dire que nous faisons des efforts exceptionnels pour nous faire comprendre par des incultes, et tu va quand-même accepter quelques petites fautes de notre part, M. Sans-Merci.

*) ne pas prendre comme insulte, je ne suis pas Flamand

Or: In English Why are you not offered to change the language, like that you could benefit too. Besides, it's probably a Walloon, and is well known that the Walloons think backwards *). If we write in English, it means that we are making exceptional efforts to make ourselves understood by the uneducated, and you will anyway accept some mistakes on our part, Mr. No-Thanks.

*) Do not take as an insult, I'm not Flamand

Walloon (Walon) is a Romance language which was spoken as a primary language in large portions (70 %) of the Walloon region and some villages of northern France (near Givet) until the middle of the 20th century. It belongs to the langue d'oïl language family, whose most prominent member is the French language. The historical background of its formation is the territorial extension, south- and westwards, of the Principality of Liège, since 980.
Despite its rich literature, beginning anonymously in the 16th century and with well-known authors since 1756 (see the paragraph Literature), Walloon has regressed drastically since annexation of Wallonia by French troops ( 1795), which definitively established French as the language of social promotion, far more than it was before. [1] Obligatory school ( 1914, in fact after World War I) gave French-speaking education to all children and induced denigration of Walloon, by punishing its use (ministerial circular of 1952). Subsequently, generational transmission of the language has no longer occurred since the middle of the 20th century, making Walloon almost a dead language, scarcely spoken nowadays.
Nevertheless, numerous associations, especially theater companies, try to keep the language alive. On a government level, Walloon is officially recognized as a "langue régionale endogène" (Décret Valmy Féaux, 14 of December 1990). Walloon has also benefited from a continue corpus planning process. The "Feller system" (1900) regularized transcription of the different accents. Since the 1990s, a common orthography was established, which allowed large scale publications like the Walloon Wikipedia.
Walloon should not be confused with Belgian French, which differs from the French spoken in France only in some minor points of vocabulary and pronunciation.

@ LukeGeniol : This is a fun battle, not a serious one.

@ZTR

You get what you pay for, and your English translation is terrible. Let this check by Zondor, the Great.

Why are you not offered to change the language -> Why don't you ask him to change the language.

Besides, it's probably a Walloon ->

Le terme Wallon vient de Walh , très vieux mot germanique utilisé par les Germains pour désigner les populations celtophones ou romanes. Le mot Wallon désigne à présent les habitants de la Wallonie - terre unilingue francophone - en opposition directe au mot Flamand .

Mr. No-Thanks -> Mr. Merciless (-> merci has several meanings!)

Your translation is really funny.

Sorry for misjudging you, was meant to be a joke anyhow. I have spelling problems as well, usually I am re-editing my posts for eliminating some of the spelling errors. I have made that error with "loose" as well.

Shit Fat, you speak French and you did not tell me, letting me make extreme contortions to find the right word.

P.S. i like to learn new things so i forgive you

Hey Metaltrader, I ride a Ridley Ridley Bikes road bike, although I don't have a Lion of Flanders jersey..... yet.

Maybe I should only critcize spelling errors when they are made by Americans...
