Morning all! What troubles are you causing today?

#1 - GF's bday - friends are waiting, we are about to sneak into the room where she is sleeping with a cake and presents and wake her up singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY. ... which takes me to the second point
#2 - my GF - I am so grateful for her in my life, she is an AMAZING person, intelligent, beautiful, AND spiritual. AND she loves me. How did I get so ridiculously lucky????????????
#3 - a day ahead filled with laughter, food, jokes, and having a great time

What are YOU appreciating today???

so today, as in most days I am always thankful for:

1. waking up before sunrise, happy and refreshed
2. lucky to watch the sunrise on the beach drinking my green tea
3. extremely thankful to have made my successful trades for today....the rest are just runners

Iíve been feeling pretty negative over the past week due to work & trading pressure but I got through that temporary chaos and things are going well.

Things I am thankful for today:

1: Waking up healthy, went for a run yesterday and it was great.

2: Had an insight last night that Iíve been trading in a cycle that begins with high-determination, careful scrutiny, and embracing risk, but after a few winners drifts into risk-aversion, lower confidence, and sloppy entries that exhibit low-risk but low-probability as well. I suffer losses and i reset back to the beginning of the cycle.
My next task is to learn to circumvent or short-circuit the risk-averse part of the cycle by constantly ďresettingĒ

So Iím thankful for this introspection.

3: Thankful that Iím getting back to regular meditation

4: thankful for the members of FIO who have helped me tremendously.

I found this thread when I saw Anagami comment on a different thread (something about the types of meditation), and I thought "what a positive guy, let me see what hes up to on this board", and here I am.

Things I am thankful for:

1. Having built a life where I work for myself from home (not just trading, really just starting this adventure in the last year. But for the last decade in my profession working for myself, home or whereever I may be). Because of this besides the freedom, it really helped this last year and while my heart goes out to those who have really taken the brunt of the pandemic, I dont loose sight of the fact that Im extremely thankful for the ability to work from home and for myself, and not have the stress of losing a job.

2. My 2 dogs. Both are 11, and I have no kids or relationship (both by choice ) so having some creatures in my life since Im an animal person is great. As well they are the reason I get out of the house some times, walk them and take a break from the computer.

3. A beautiful sunny summer day again. I moved back to Canada after 20 years in the US, and while both have their pros and cons, with Canada having much more seasons than Phoenix/Vegas, you really appreciate the summer because winter is just a few months away.

#1- Very lucky to have a woman that supports me regardless of what I do
#2- living in a great neighborhood that is going up in value and is safe
#3- get to trade every single day

early day today, wide awake @4am

1. Up early, took advantage of it with an hour run while it was still dark and somewhat cool
2. I am lucky to have truly supportive and unconditional love from family and friends
3. again, blessed to be able to trade and make a living doing it

best,

Johnny

Good morning guys!

What shall I appreciate today? There is such a sea of good things surrounding us!!!

#1 - Still 'recovering' from yesterday's bday party for the gf. We had an awesome time, did so many things. The intention to give her the best bd ever was a MASSIVE SUCCESS!!
#2 - Vivir Mi Vida ("To Live My Life") - the song starts about 1:15 into the video. ENJOY.
#3 - A quiet morning, I breathe in and breathe out... and I feel happy.

Have a great Friday!!

I am grateful that I have great relationship with my sister. Even though we live in different cities, we talk to each other almost daily.

I am grateful that my daughter help me with the dishes today.

I am grateful that my younger sister's baby is cute and healthy. Seeing her smile really melts my heart.
