HI mate some questions on your journal, i know some off the answers, helping out with the readme. Hope this helps.

Overview tab
What colour cells are required to be filled? i know some are protected (this question goes for all tabs really)
Light green cells or cells below a light green heading (not all are required).

What is vwap?
Voume weighted average price.

Benchmark efficiency?
How much of the maximum favourable excursion while in the trade (before exit) was realised.

MAE?
Average maximum adverse excursion.

SQN?
System Quality Number by Van Tharp.

Expectancy?
(Probability of Win * Average Win) – (Probability of Loss * Average Loss)
Basically the average outcome of a trade.

Drawdown?
Maximum decrease of account balane.

Profit Factor?

Sharpe Ration?
Calmar Ratio?

Monte carlo tab

What is monte carlo mean? (not the city for the rich)
The Monte Carlo engine randomly selects a specified number trades from your journal (the pivot table on the left, can also be filtered) and builds a 'new trades collection' from them. This is done 50 times. It can give you an idea of profitability and drawdowns.

Method list tab
Possible to change and add methods? how many?
Methods can be edited (changed, added, deletd as long as one remains) there is no limit to the number of methods.

Instruments tab
Possible to add instruments? How many?
Yes. Unlimited.

V stand for?
Don't know what you are referring to, sorry.

Journal tab

Military time is an unambiguous, concise method of expressing time.
E.g. 6:30am is 0600 and 5:20pm is1720.

Benchmark?
Maximum favourable excursion while in the trade (before exit).

MFE2?
Absolute maximum favourable excursion (before or after exit).

MAE1,2 and 3, what are they?

is there a way to change these to two decimal places but keep the formatting of your '$' sign over there on the left?

just use the number formatting of I3 (easiest is to paste the format and then correct the colour and borders again)

1. It's not rounded, it only displays not all digits.
2. This is due to the conitional formatting, meaning there is either a fomating error or an error with the instrument list.
For this reason it would be very helpful if you coud post a screenshot of the instrument list you use, so that I can track down the error.

Thanks for all your help!

Well, I'm not too sure...
It's ment to be an overview, so it doesn't substitute your brokers statement....
I would prefer to keep it simple.

ok thats cool, i can live with it and just make my modifications.. also is there a way to when you have a drop down on the journal tab, ex. the instrument drop down, that it expands fully to the amount of instruments you have so there is not scroll bar?
