Yes it makes you unprotect as these cells are locked.
No, they shouldn't be, I changed it so in the next version it is corrected....

for getting the prices to not show whole numbers, what setting should i use for that under the format cells.. i might just change them in the overview tab, but i might get OCD about it and change them in the journal as well..

now it says in the formatting string sth like 0_ just change it to the string similar to this but saying 0.00_ (on my machine it's 2 further up....

when i opened the journal again i got this:



also i cant get the overview tab to update the values after i change the starting balance.. (net profit/current account bal)

Could you try this and have a look if the link error is gone...
Account balance seems to work.... but your net profit seems somewhat high....

just started playing with the new build.. so far going through my normal changes and i havnt seen a single error pop up.. so far so good vvhg, and thanks!

im trying to add 2 decimal places to everything where there is price, and im not sure how to do that on the results columns and balance?



looks like something i shouldnt mess with.. i changed them on the overview tab by formatting them to currency and 2 decimal places like this:
