What are some good strategies to withdraw money from the trading account?

I always back away from withdrawing good profits only to lose them soon after. Very frustrating...

I am not dependant on trading income but would like to understand some good withdrawal strategies so I don't give them back to the market

Thanks in advance

You said, you're not dependent on trading.
If you're successfully trading, don't withdraw the first years.
See your compound growth with steady max%capital at risk per trade. Important for performance measure.
