I am reading the new buffetology book, so far I learned a lot, so I was wondering. Does it work in intraday trading?

The strategy is simple “ted would swing only at balls that were in his best cells for hitting home runs”

Have a great day

Thanks for your answer. For me trading is like a sport. If I practice every day I will improve, but I was wondering, does it work the Ted strategy in intraday trading or is a long strategy? I can tell you, I am regular guy, don’t have 20-10 vision, but discipline always beats talent. Have a great day man

Take what the market gives you. Be patient and wait for a fat pitch. Too many people get fixated on making X$/day. Some days there might be nothing going on and other days may contribute 20%+ to your month.

You seem to have a good attitude...good luck!

A couple things to keep in mind.

Ted's batting average was .344 and he hit 521 home runs in 7706 times at bat.

It didn't cost him anything when he stuck out or made contact and was put out.

So even if you only swing at the best pitches you still only get a hit 35% of the time.

Ted Williams was one of the best, most of us can't hit minor league pitching.

Any strategy is only the basis for market research.
In the future, you will be able to adapt it to your work, choose the settings that match your wishes and your needs.

So what's the point of the strategy? I would like to understand how it works...
