Does or has anyone do YOGA for the traders body and mind?

There are multiple threads with yoga input from a few posters but my searches show no thread completely dedicated to it. Admins move if needed.

I can really see myself doing YOGA as a regular part of my weekly routine(may 3x week) if and when I commit to full time trading. I still do a lot of usual guy exercise routines, but I am digging the YOGA for trader discipline and trader health(longevity).
I really like how it releases a lot of the body that gets bound up from trading.
Certain yoga types are great for the mind as well.
Physical benefits include but not relegated to - Body control, breath control(autonomic nervous system), isometric strength, pre-hab, rehab.

Some teachers and places can get a bit spiritual and hokey, but the number of practitioners and places allow you to be selective for what is right for you.

A big side benefit is there is usually a disproportionate number of young in shape females at certain places.

Used to do Yoga asanas and pranayam with my Brazilian trader-girlfriend.

Yoga is great for lot of things, highly recommended. Easy on pranayam, breathing exercises like kapal bhati can be extremely powerful.

Strong endorphin release after 90 minutes of yoga, comparable to morphine. When you trade you want to feel good, but maybe not THAT good.

You are never in the wrong place... but sometimes you are in the right place looking at things in the wrong way.
