I am looking for people to share their visualizations of abundance.

What visualizations to you use when you see yourself being materially abundant?
How do you color these visualizations with emotion?
Do you include a visualizatioin of yourself trading with ease and perfection?

Other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Sometimes day dreaming of perfectly timed deep OTM options, going through on all the winners called, with none of the losers. Replaying history with hindsight doesn't seem like a very good answer - so interested in hearing others.

I stay grounded in expectations based on my circumstance - maybe it's limiting.

I looked on the net for examples - I guess I'm not very good with the search engines.
Perhaps others can look as well. There has to be some traders who have posted their
visualizations.

Here is someone's idea of the process

That's because you set this thread up as a "Ask a Question" thread from the home page.

So those big huge banners you are seeing on every post saying "Does this post answer your question", you need to click one of them to select a post as an answer before you can use the thanks button.

NP - almost deleted - not much of a contribution. The clip I found on visualizations didn't seem like a good representation - but seems crazy enough to possibly help (whatever works). Should have just waited for Wildman's follow up.

Yup on the OTM. Catch up with you soon.

When I started the thread I was hoping people would post/share examples of the visualizations they use.

I do have one myself, howver with some blocks around accepting abundance, I was hoping others would share what they use. Perhaps if 20 or 30 examples were posted I might be able to improve mine. (I didn't want to post it so as to not stem the torrent of examples.)

This isn't what I use - just the outline of what it entails........

For my trading I have a few sets of imagery:
  • One is trading in the flow like an expert kayaker catching anticpating each turn the rocks and using all to his advantage catching every turn with effortless ease and perfection
  • In another I have a notebook with a set of tables where I look up values and times and it tells me where each turn will be in advance and perfectly so I am catching every high and low to the tick.
  • In a third I have a small office with a team of people each with a set task (doing an andrew's pitchfork, or certain retracements, of time formulae each callilng the results out to a central person would is co-ordinating and melding the estimates - like a control room.
-----------------

For the trading visualizations none are quite right. - though 2 occurs most frequently.

Well it's late and 3:30 comes early....

PS Perhaps some kind soul will ask Linda R what she uses or ones that others have shared with her, that she thought were really good. She should have some gems!

I been still working on this question.
I recent experience has gelled my desire to move.
In reply to a friends email I wrote:

Nearest town 20 miles away. No other homes on my lake.

Home by a beautiful lake, woods all around, out on my dock, have a coffee go
for a swim and then paddle around the lake with only the ducks for company!

Come back and check how many million my computer prg has made for me today.
Order another shipment of gold bars.

Plan my next trip
Hiking the Himalayas,
Whitewater the Ganges headwaters
Hiking and gold panning in the Yukon
Surfing in Hawaii
Hiking the swizz alps
..
sounds good!

I have written a small book on creating with the aid of visualization.

I the book I created 3 visualizations:

The first is the abundance - it has the home I would like and lifestyle and health etc.

The second is the way of achieving it - this is a visualization of myself trading with perfection

The third is myself being victorious - this includes what I will do to help the world with my wealth. A little bit like the longer term plan. So if part 1 is making $x millions via trading then this part is having brought forth my inventions in green energy, ending pollution, restoring the planet's health (reforestation, cleaning rivers and oceans and skies, establishing wildlife protection areas and so on.

One thing I got from a DVD of Jack Canfield on the Law of Abundance was that 1hour of inner work - meditation visualization etc is worth 8 hours of outer work - studying charts, building trading programs, screen time etc

So I need to spend more time on the inner work!

Here is something from a self-hypnosis tape on abundance:

Allow your thoughts to roam upon the question,

"How is wealth created?"

and you will soon discover that all wealth is created in the mind and that every person who has ever created wealth has created it first in their mind and then proceeded to project into physical reality the mental images they have been nurturing and holding within their minds.

---------
I liked it. Now to do it!

In this area...I like very much the work and CDs of Dr Emmett Miller....

Dr. Miller's Guided Imagery & Meditation CDs, MP3s, Books for Stress Management, Anxiety Relief, Insomnia Treatment, Weight Loss & more

Here is a favorite...Writing Your Own Lifes Script....
Purpose:
• To teach people how to develop desirable mental, emotional, and physical habits.
• To help them confront unwanted patterns in life, including maladaptive social patterns.
• To assist in releasing those patterns and replacing them with more effective responses.
• To teach the fundamental Selective Awareness process.

Yes.

In the self-hypnosis tape, after the relaxation part, he guides you through a visualization to release 5 basic fears and so clear the blocks preventing you from allowing abundance to flow into your life. These are:
fear of poverty,
fear of criticism,
fear of loss of love,
fear of illness,
fear of death.

Then in another part you are given suggestion to release and forgive anyone who has harmed you.

These are before the actual abundance suggestions

In several places I have read about setting up your day. This could be done the night before or the morning of.

The idea is to plan your day out seeing each step happening joyously and perfectly. Being in the flow.
You pre-play mental images of everything going well.

The idea is to use your powers of creative manifestation to set out intentions for the day. Being the concept is the theory that the Universe will draw to you events, resources, people to fulfill the images you have created.

A simple example might be going to the bank to withdraw money.

You could image driving to the bank and a parking spot opens up.
You go into the bank and there is no line-up (or very short) for the tellers.
The teller you get is warm, friendly and helpful. They are attentive and present (not in robot mode).
The transaction goes smoothly and you exchange friendly smiles and pleasant thoughts.
Perhaps the teller (or someone in the line-up) makes a comment that is just what you need to solve a problem you are working on.
---
Example of information resource being provided to you.
You are looking for a way to determine the direction of the upcoming trading day. You haven't brought this up in conversation but a person says out of the blue "You know, I have found that how my day turns out is often effected by the night before." So they might be thinking about dreams etc and their impact on the day, but you see understand the comment as the Universe giving you a clue to examine the o/n trading pattern for clues as to the direction of the upcoming day.
-----------

Similar to the going to the bank visualization - one can create an in-the-flow trading example.

Action stems first from thought, and most of our thinking is habitual. How we perceive and respond to situations is a great deal subconscious.

Understanding yourself is just as important as understanding markets.

I am looking for people to share their visualizations of abundance.

What visualizations to you use when you see yourself being materially abundant?
How do you color these visualizations with emotion?
Do you include a visualizatioin of yourself trading with ease and perfection?

Other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Imagine a scene that would make you feel abundant. Think about your ideal situation, don't worry about what is logical this is really about dreaming. Imagine yourself driving the car you want, living in the house you want, feeling that very light and relaxed feeling because you can do anything you want at anytime and you can afford anything you want. For the most vivid visualizations, I would recommend lying down, relaxing and covering your eyes so its dark first. AS you wake up and before you sleep are also very good times to do it as your brain is naturally closer to a dream-like state.

Understanding yourself is just as important as understanding markets.

Norman Vincent Peale (author of the Power of Positive Thinking and many other books) speaks about setting up your day with conditioning your mind with positive thoughts the night before. Also he recommends conditioning your mind each morning.

Here is an example of conditioning your mind for happiness:
"Every morning, before arising, lie relaxed in bed and deliberately drop happy thoughts into your conscious mind. Let a series of pictures pass across your mind of happy experiences you expect to have during the day. Savior their joy. Such thoughts will help events to turn out that way."

We often find a quotation, thought or idea that through "translation" we can amend to a situation currently facing us.
We can take the quote above and "translate" it to trading.

Happiness ==> Trading success.

So
""Every morning, before arising, lie relaxed in bed and deliberately drop happy thoughts into your conscious mind. Let a series of pictures pass across your mind of happy experiences you expect to have during the day. Savior their joy. Such thoughts will help events to turn out that way."

can be translated to:
"Every morning, before arising, lie relaxed in bed and deliberately drop thoughts of trading success into your conscious mind. Let a series of visualizations pass across your mind of trading successes you expect to have during the day. Savior their joy. Such thoughts will help events to turn out that way."

It can become more powerful if we "make it our own", if we personalize it.
Add to it, expand it, deepen it by making it "for us".

Starting:
"Every morning, before arising, lie relaxed in bed and deliberately drop thoughts of trading success into your conscious mind. Let a series of visualizations pass across your mind of trading successes you expect to have during the day. Savior their joy. Such thoughts will help events to turn out that way."
-----------
Personalize and deepen:

Each morning see your day and your trading unfold with ease and grace.

You wake up with a big smile, and expectation of a great day ahead (like a child on Christmas morning!). You wash, grin, and hum a happy tune. You do some stretches, make a nice breakfast brew a wonderful cup of steaming hot coffee and drink in the aroma.

Gathering your data you review your charts. It's going to be a great day - you just know it!!
You can sense the rhythm of the market as you review your charts and picking up an intuitive sense how the market will trade.

This market is going to break and break hard!!

See yourself perfectly executing a great trade. Your timing is perfect. You are confident and relaxed. The price rises to take your order magically just filling it and then no sooner you are filled on your short the price starts to fall like a rock. A huge red five minute bar unfolds picking up momentum as forms.

Your P&L is soaring!
It's a flash crash and you are riding the wave!!
The dollars are piling up like magic!!!

Then it seems to pause, rise and then the plunge continues - smashing through one support level after another.

You sense the bottom. Volume comes in and a doji forms on the one minute. The tide is turning. You CAR.
Up and up it rises and your profits continue to mount. At the 50% the market falters and you close out!

You captured 60 points in 35 minutes! You're done for the day!

You jump for joy! You let put a huge holler of joy! You give thanks and go for a walk to savoir the beautiful day.
:-)

..........
peace, love and joy to you

From Peale:

"You can be unhappy if you want to be. it is the easiest thing in the world to accomplish. Just choose unhappiness. Go around telling yourself that things aren't going well, that nothing is satisfactory, and you can be assured of being unhappy. But say to yourself, 'Things are going nicely. Life is good. I choose happiness.' and you can be certain of having your choice."

p58 The Power of Positive Thinking

I had found that I was doing the former. Reading this I realized I must change the tone of my outlook.
So I have decided to adopt
  • Things are going nicely.
  • Life is good.
  • I choose happiness.
The main straight media (MSM) by in large focuses on what is going wrong - thought the news, financial press etc. and so people around us. Throughout the day there are a variety of events which we might label "good" or "bad".

Establishing the tone of your outlook to be positive can be assisted in a few ways.
1. Seeing the good around you
2. Seeing what you achieved today
3. Seeing how something "bad" might be a "good" in disguise (silver lining)
4. Seeing the good the beautiful, the joyful, the loving, the successful in your mind's eye (visualization)

..........
peace, love and joy to you

an example of

3. Seeing how something "bad" might be a "good" in disguise (silver lining)

Each day I update my various spreadsheets (which have data and statistics of the day). This is a long job, perhaps an 1.5 hours in the morning and 3 in the evening after market close. There are several spreadsheets (which have grown size over time) and data from one feeds to another - not linked but paste values.

In the morning I gather the o/n high and low and enter it in the spreadsheet one. This i pasted values to a second spreadsheet - the main calculation spreadsheet. Then at day's end data from #2 goes to #3 which in turn feeds #4.

This morning I found that I had made an error in the high low data of the o/n session. This meant I needed to revisit all the 4 sheets to updating values in all the places the wrong data existed. A lot of work.

However, in reprinting my end of the day reports I noticed that the o/n range was only displayed as F0 (instead of F2) for the graph summary paste. This has existed for a long time. By making the mistake I today noticed this error meaning it won't carry-forward from now on.

So a "bad" produced a "good".
It was initially discouraging for it mean extra work but really the extra work means I have a caught an error.

So under accomplishments for today I can add to the list:
1. Fixed error in printout summary display

---------------------------------------

Look to re-frame "bads" to "goods". Sometimes it might be a while (several day, weeks etc) before you see how the bad was a good in disguise.

If you create and establish the belief:
"Within every setback or challenge lies a greater benefit"
in your belief structure (your subconscious rule set), you will find the good much sooner.

To help you can consciously say to yourself:
"I don't see the good in this at this time but there is good and I will understand in the future."

I think this matter of mentally reframing is incredibly useful.

This especially works with deep resentments toward people who we feel have wronged us.

Or trading losses. It's useful to re-frame a trading loss to provide a takeaway or teachable moment.

Very true.

Further to your example on resentments this is a very good spiritual point. If we hold resentments it is like drinking poison hoping it will hurt those who have "wronged" us. If our own spiritual environment becomes weakened, discolored or polluted the framework, or basis from which we are operating is weakened and impaired.

Just as a healthy body provides strength to our mental processes and clarity of thought, so too does a healthy spirit provide strength and empowerment to our daily lives and to operating "in the flow".

I believe being of healthy spirit also increases our ability to receive intuitive insights and so can provide the breakthroughs we need to solve problems or for new inventions or new techniques.

(So for a trader, new techniques could be a trading setup or system)

I think this "healthy spirit" can also be referred to as "mental capital."

I've found that holding onto the negative emotions surrounding a bad trade or a slump can seriously deplete this mental capital.

Or maybe mojo is another word for it.

You need it to be able to sit down and rock the trading station.

In a way you could say that this mental capital is just as important or even more important than your trading capital.

I am now doing everything I can to nourish, build and enhance it.

Yes having a good mojo is very important.

I think of the word mojo to mean a combination of:
1. positive life force +
2. healthy self-confidence +
3. ability to connect and be in the "flow"

So this would be a combination of all 3 working together to direct the energy in-line (spirit+intellectual force+universal force)

(In the flow = in harmony with the energy of the Universe).

==> I am very far from your "rocking the tradestation" but I am working on it. :-)

I have felt for quite some time that "blocks" have been hindering my success.

By blocks I mean deep beliefs that we hold in our subconscious (beliefs that we may not even be aware of having and if we were asked we would scoff at the notion).

e.g.
I do not deserve abundance.
I do not deserve success.

Often we develop these in childhood (through experiences, belief structures of our parents etc)

I recently visited @TickedOff 's website
Inner Game Trader -Your Foundation For Trading Success
Home - Inner Game Trader

"Our subconscious beliefs are our baseline. State control is temporary and will always revert to base. you cannot maintain a relaxed and focused attitude if you are continually worrying about money (belief: money is scarce; there is not enough). This relaxed state will inevitably be sabotaged by emotions of anxiety and fear, because as long as you have damaging beliefs about money, these emotions will continuously generate within yourself."

I liked his way of expressing this - with his holes in the boat analogy (read at link below)

I have found that my blocks even impede my ability to relax and hold a visualization.
I will start and very soon find sabotaging thoughts rush in to ruin the visualization.

Let's say I am imagining having $50,000,000 in gold, a nice home, a beautiful loving young wife etc.

What are you going to do about people coming and stealing your gold?
How are you going to protect you program?
What about taxes?

The logical absurdity of these attacks given my current financial situation paints them as totally ridiculous - but knowing this doesn't stop them from sabotaging my visualization efforts. It is almost as if my subconscious is saying:

"If we let him do these visualizations successfully he may start having success and our Standing Orders (belief rules) are he is not allowed success he doesn't deserve it - so we better stop this right now."

In his famous book Think and Grow Rich, Napolean Hill says the only known method of changing our inner beliefs is through auto-suggestion.

"Stated in another way, auto-suggestion is self-suggestion. It is the agency of communication between that part of the mind where conscious thought takes place and that which serves as the seat of action for the subconscious mind." p95

"Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought." p94

Three ways (all essentially the same) come to mind.

1. affirmations
2. Self-hypnosis and then affirmations (along the lines of Psycho Cybernetics)
3. taped affirmations played when sleeping.

One of the guests featured in Louise Hay's double DVD pack is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caroline_Myss
In the DVD several of the authors of Hay House outline their process in self-healing.

As I recall, Carolyn had breast cancer and she stood in front of the mirror and did her healing affirmations
"At the beginning, I did them mechanically, like reps, just as if you were doing bicep curls. I would do sets of afirmations"

(approximate quote from my recall).

I liked the idea of sets.
So that is what I will try sets of 15.
3 sets in a session with a break in between.

3 Sessions a day.

The concept of "inner game" is manosphere jargon.

Picking up girls.

I think that it's all the same "game" and requires the same inner mindset.

Over time, the repetition of the idea will make it seem not so absurd. You dont need to believe at first, just play with it. Also, other people have these things, so why not you? I would recommend doing these visualizations where you are sleepy so in the morning and right before bed, when your conscious critical faculties are not so switched on. You could also use some sound tracks to put you in a relaxed state, so lie down and become still and listen to something relaxing like a guided mediation, maybe some binaural beats, and then begin the visualization.

Understanding yourself is just as important as understanding markets.

The term was first coined by Timothy Gallowey in "the inner game of tennis", which is really a metaphor for the inner game of life and can be applied to almost anything.

Understanding yourself is just as important as understanding markets.

Your points are valuable additions I think such as:
"other people have these things, so why not you?"

I will give your suggestion of :
"lie down and become still and listen to something relaxing like a guided mediation, maybe some binaural beats, and then begin the visualization."
a try. It may be the key to still the gremlins!

I tried that Youtube visualization above, the one with the raking up hundred dollar bills in the park and putting them into many plastic garbage bags. Really excellent.

My primary visualization is quite different, though.

My focus is on outcome independence, which is based on an assumption of abundance.

I am indifferent to outcome, just focused on getting the process right. Beautiful fishing.

So the image is of being a boulder on the beach, somewhat above the waterline. The waves come in and they go out. Sometimes the waves reach me and go splashing right over me. Other times, most of the time, they barely get to the base of my boulder. They always go back out, though. This visualization is timed with each breath. As a rock that is deeply anchored right down to bedrock on the beach I am totally indifferent to what the waves do.

Here is an MP3 sound file for the youtube money bag visualization.
I wanted a local copy so I could play it without going onlne.

*I have renamed it to MP4 so I could upload it and you may have to rename it to MP3 extension to make it work.

Money bags visualization
money bags manifestation.mp4

I have tried this standing and I like it that way and doing the actions. (my eyes closed).

For those who have read and studied about manifesting your visualization, you will understand the importance of planning. (In Think and Grow Rich n Hill refers to Organized Planning the Sixth Step to Riches). Initially after visualizing our outcome consistently and for a substantial duration a plan to attain our goal may be handed over to us by our subconscious.

We have all heard many variations of the 90-10 rule. Such as:
  • the top 10% of all realtors make 90% of the money.
  • 10% of our actions create 90% of our success.
  • 90% of our success comes from our inner work and 10% from our outer (external world) work.
  • most people spend 90% of their time on unproductive activities and only 10% on those activities that will contribute to their success.
etc.

If we have a plan to achieve our goal some visualizations can be of our implementation of that goal - our plan.
The plan is the organized set of steps and actions that lead us from where we are to where we will be (or where we already are in our mind's eye).

Here is a definition of self-discipline from session1 of an audio prg I have:

session 3
Our behaviour is governed by images of achievement, neuronal blueprints of success or failure in the achievement of our goals.
The brain cannot tell the difference between a real experience and a vividly imagined one.
-----------------
Therefore vividly imagined images of success and create new neuronal blueprints of success (to replace our blueprints of failure). Vividly imagine trading successes.

My suggestion (to myself)
Replay in your mind past days with you perfectly trading them. See the signals you recognized. Feel the certainty of the setup. See yourself entering and triggering the order. See the profit mounting. Feel the joy, pride and satisfaction of masterful trading. Imagine (live the experience of) your bank account growing exponentially each day and it reaching your target.

session 6 On modelling and mentoring:

By learning the methods, behaviors of master(s) of your craft you gains a road map to successful action.
Sometimes the mentors or teachers indirect through books and media.

"It is a rare artist who develops a new style without having worked in the style of with a master he or she admires."
------------

What I noticed was the use of the word "admires". Perhaps we admire those who approach their craft in the way we are akin to in our hearts. There may be a common spark where we think - ''Yes that is the right way to do it'.

So we have a road map or path to we can visualizing leading to success.

I think nowhere as in trading is the path to success so ill-defined. It (must be?) is unique to some extent. We need to develop an edge that moves us from random and tilts the odds of success in our favour.

I have been doing the vortex guided money bags visualization each morning - first thing.

I still am struggling to find the time for more visualizations but I am hoping to.
I thing the main thing is to stay positive in the face of discouragement.
Without a positive outlook I can't imagine that visualization attempts will meet with success.

From N V Peele recommendation say in the morning:
"This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it."

We remind ourselves to be grateful for life and its blessings.

Often when I go to sleep after saying my prayers I ask that I will be given a message to help me in my trading.

One morning I woke with the phrase
"Enormous Abundance"

which I understand to mean I should recognize that I already have enormous abundance in my life and to recognize and appreciate this.

Though I don't have financial abundance by North American standards (income or net worth) I realize I have many blessings.

Imagine the luxury of having a warm shower -

Many in the world have to search for drinking water and only have stagnant disease-ridden pools to draw from.
For them getting enough food to survive is a struggle.
They will never know the luxury of a warm shower and soap.

180,000 people die each 3 days from starvation or malnutrition diseases. Die an agonizing death after a pain-filled life.

"One of the biggest obstacles to our success is not our own doubts but the doubts of others."

When Henry Ford was working out the assembly line process everyone said it wouldn't work. But his wife said you believe in it, it is a good idea go ahead and do it.

Impinging upon our thought environment (TE) is the thoughts of others - some helpful and supportive - many not.

In doing visualizations we want to cultivate a positive supportive thought environment (PSTE). A belief structure that everything is going to work out fine, all is for the best and that the universe is conspiring to help us.

If our TE is negative, fearful or apprehensive it is very difficult to successfully engage in visualizations. The gremlins come in. Fear, doubt and worry gnaw at us and effectively destroy our chances for success.

------
Thoughts are not only generated by our minds. They are also generated by the minds of others. These fill the ether. If you are not aware of this or if you have no way to guard against negative thoughts, you are leaving yourself open to these thoughts entering your mind - like seeds of weeds blown upon the wind into the garden of your mind.

The stronger the psychic connection to you the more the thoughts of the that person can be projected to and picked up by your (subconscious mind). (note 1) Some people are very strong at projecting thoughts. If a parent - a person who has strong ties to you - projects the thoughts:

x will never succeed
x will never have money
I am so worried about x

Then x will pick up on these thoughts. It takes BOTH awareness and practice to throw out these "weed Seeds" before they take root in your subconscious and foul the garden of your mind.

From Think and Grow Rich p95 Chp4

I have been listening to the guided visualization each day now.
(first thing each day before starting my work)

It really helps me feel better.

Putting a smile on your face and breathing in love and joy is a lot of fun.

This morning, I keyed in on the words
"Feel the freedom of imagining anything you want to."

--------------------------------------------

It is a wonderful and powerful freedom.

To close our eyes and transport ourselves to a beautiful, joyful, magical world rich in everything good and painted with the limitlessness of our imagination.

As I typed this post the title of the classic book "As a man thinketh" by one of the world's greatest spiritual authors, James Allen, sprang to mind.

Another line I like from James Allen

"That circumstances grow out of thought every man knows who has for any length of time practiced self-control and self-purification, for he will have noticed that the alteration in his circumstances has been in exact ratio with his altered mental condition. So true is this that when a man earnestly applies himself to remedy the defects in his character, and makes swift and marked progress, he passes rapidly through a succession of vicissitudes."

The last sentence particularly struck me when I was rereading the book, when I looked up what vicissitude meant (lol). But for the record its 'a change of circumstances or fortune, typically one that is unwelcome or unpleasant.' I have been trying to turn my life around since early 2013, dabbling into various self-help books, ventured into online poker, got into trading late 2014 etc but since then I have experienced multiple crisis and a lot of hardships in many areas of my life, each one driving me to my knees but at the same time made me determined to understand and overcome the situations. Losing my funding was my most recent hit and "dark night of the soul" in which it became obvious that my loss in faith in myself was ruining my performance and that the only way I was going to succeed was to get that back, leading me to look deeper into trading psychology and the psychology of wealth in general, learning about the importance of subconscious beliefs and how the thoughts and feelings we have on a habitual basis (which is largely driven by subconscious conditioning) will create our circumstances.

In think and grow rich Napoleon Hill says "Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit." I have found this to be so true, because the adversities I have faced have broken me but then allowed me to rebuild myself into something stronger and my identity has shifted so much that when I looked back its like I hold the memories of different person who isn't me. "A first rate madness" by Nassir Ghaemi also explores this idea, looking at the link between mental illness and crisis time leaders.

Another line from As a Man Thinketh

"Suffering is always the effect of wrong thought in some direction. It is an indication that the individual is out of harmony with himself, with the Law of his being. The sole and supreme use of suffering is to purify, to burn out all that is useless and impure. Suffering ceases for him who is pure. There could be no object in burning gold after the dross had been removed, and a perfectly pure and enlightened being could not suffer."

(Although I would disagree with that last statement, I think as long as you live on Earth you will experience pain to varying degrees, how you deal with it is a whole other story).

Understanding yourself is just as important as understanding markets.

"Still without great change within"

How do we feel our greatness when others grade us as what we were?

I was thinking about visualization and the concept of holding phrases such as:
"I am rich"
"I am abundant"
"I have $x million"
"I am the world's best trader"
in our minds.

Often others will ask: "How much do you make trading?".

But what we have done is our past. If we want our future to be different than our past we must "see" (in our mind's eye) our new selves and believe that that is who we really are. The outside is not who we are it is who we were. Our outside circumstances are not a reflection of who we are but who we were.

"Still without - great change within."

Others hold in their minds a view of you that is based on who you were not who you are (assuming you have done the inner work to change you = your mind's eye view of you) but who you were.

The key is to understand you really are - the new you NOW, in the moment of the present, while you are visualizing the new you (rich abundant successful, joyful, in perfect health, etc).

You are that NewYouNow, not in the future. (The future has not yet manifested in the external world). The external world will clothe itself in the NewYouNow if you persistently, strongly and repeatedly hold it and believe it. The present will change and the "future" will express the FutureNew you.

Another way to think of this is that in the present, there is not the past, or the future, but only the moment of the NOW.

Aside: Plato's concept of Forms
Spiritual reality is the foundation upon which external world manifests. This is akin/equal to Plato's concept of the Form. A triangle is a Form. If you make an external physical world representation of a triangle that is clothing the spiritual reality in external "reality". The external world version is only an approximation of the Form. It will never be a perfect triangle (always off by millimeters, microns etc.)

Yet others will see you as you have been, (in their minds as you are ) graded by your past.

My thought on this quote of James Allen is that he is looking at the spiritual growth of a person. To me he is sharing the concept of the world as a place to learn spiritual lessons and cleanse ourselves of spiritual flaws (the "dross").

Spiritual purification is the reason for repeated incarnations.
We need many lives to achieve this (and some put forward only one soul has done so).

If you were totally free from judging others, hatred, ill-will, envy, dishonesty, violence, greed, and so on, you would be free to break the cycle and would no longer need to come back (Pure gold cleansed of all dross). At this level you would be free from all constraints of the material plane.
  • With God all things are possible.
  • Whatever you ask for, believing it will be done, it shall be done.
  • If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed you could command the mountain to rise up and throw itself into the sea and it would be done.
  • All these things I have done you shall do and more.

Included: instantly healing lepers, blind, crippled, disfigured, transformation of substances (changing water to wine), commanding storms to be instantly still, creating physical things (feeding 5,000 people with 3 fish and 7 loaves and having 14 baskets of scraps left over, vanishing and bringing the dead to life.

The message of Easter Monday is that physical death is not death of the spiritual being (which is eternal).
Aside: The Church edited out re-incarnation from the Bible as it didn't suit their purpose of control. However it was a commonly accepted concept at the time of Jesus. "Who do the people say I am?" Jesus inquired of his disciplines. "Some say you are Elijah. Some say you are John the Baptist, etc".

(So until one rises to Christ/Buddha consciousness and can leave the material plane suffering is part of one's lot. )

I visualize what I will do with the money, not the trading itself. House, car, beach...

We trade to make money so we could live the way we want, go wherever we want and live wherever we want.
That's why online trading is so great !

Do you have a list of things you will spend your money on (perhaps share in the thread?).

I think specific examples would help others create their own.

Many of us know how important visualization of our goal with emotional energization is to manifesting the goal in the material plane. Nut we do not do it - the twice a day practice.

There can be many reasons for why we do not do what we know we should do. That is, many underlying dis-empowering beliefs held by our subconscious.

I have pondered on this question for myself and today in an "unrelated" (is anything really "unrelated" at a deeper level?) conversation I wrote

"I am acknowledging to myself my worth and my opportunity to help transform the planet at a time of crisis. "

So now I realized that this is pointing to a underlying dis-empowering belief about myself.
I have not been "acknowledging to myself my worth".

In a way (on a conscious level) this is silly, but beliefs held my our subconscious do not need to be logical, or rational, or make sense. These beliefs are often implanted in our early childhood without us realizing it.

So I will add to my affirmation list:

"I now acknowledge to myself my worth and my ability to create great achievements"

Well sure.
- Buy real estate for my and me
- Travel as much as i can all over the world - living the good life but not too much though and not all the time.
- Start a program to teach teens and mothers and everyone who wants to, but can't - How to make money - trading or other ways online. (there has to be one thing i don't do totally for my own benefit.)
-Make sure i always have some on the side for a rainy day.

Or - at least that's what i hope I'll be smart enough to do...

I have been starting each day with the vortex money bags visualization.

This morning the phrase "transform your life" sprang forward.

It brought to mind the idea that we are not trying to live the past but to create a new a transformational self image.

We want to step into a new us.

--------------Bright Light Room------
There is a visualization which goes along these lines:

Imagine yourself standing before the door of a magical place filled with a beautiful bright light.
The spot of grass you are standing on in front of the door is a circle of green grass 20 feet wide.
Behind you you can feel a forest with a path leading to the green grass circle you are standing in, but it is not of interest to you and you feel no need to turn around and look at it -it is behind you, your past.

You wear a smile and look forward into the place of beautiful light. In this magical place are only good things. This world is shielded from negative thoughts. It is filled with positive uplifting energy - perhaps of angels. When you open the door and step into the magical room and close the door behind you - you will see appear before you wonderful beautiful things that fill you heart with joy. In the magical world everything will be as you want it and you will be able to do whatever you want.

You now open the door step into the magical world and close the door behind you.

What do you see?
How do you feel?
What are you doing?

Feel and experience the joy and delight of this place.
When you are ready return to the grass and close the door.
Open your eyes and write down all the wonderful things you saw, felt and did.

..........
peace, love and joy to you

Here is something on the pssychology of trading
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2U2w7jgyV4

I am listening to it several times.
This came forward today:

"Our current beliefs and actions are governed by experiences linked to unconscious emotional memories.
Emotions are key to forming beliefs
Re-experiencing of emotions tied to the orginal conflict re-enforce current beliefs."

So when we set-up to visualize we must first remove unconscious limiting or destructive beliefs.

(or perhaps replace them by stronger supplants in the unconscious belief bed ?)

and doing this requires the energization of new empowering beliefs with sufficient emotion to supplant old unconscious beliefs.

I have developed a concept of tying affirmations to lyrics.

Steps:
1. FInd a happy light-hearted ditty
2. pull -out the tune.
3. make new lyrics to fit the tune that are affirmations

E.g
Campton Races

STEPHEN FOSTER

Camptown Races Lyrics

The Camptown ladies sing this song
Doo-dah! Doo-dah!
The Camptown racetrack's five miles long
Oh! doo-dah day!

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the bay

I come down there with my hat caved in
Doo-dah! doo-dah!
I go back home with a pocket full of tin
Oh! de doo-dah day!

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the bay

The long tail filly and the big black hoss
Doo-dah! Doo-dah!
They fly the track and they both cut across
Oh! de doo-dah day!

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the bay

The blind hoss sticken in a big mud hole
Doo-dah! doo-dah!
Can't touch bottom with a ten foot pole
Oh! de doo-dah day!

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the bay

Old muley cow come on to the track
Doo-dah! Doo-dah!
The bob-tail fling her over his back
Oh! de doo-dah day!

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the bay

Then fly along like a rail-road car
Doo-dah! doo-dah!
Runnin' a race with a shootin' star
Oh! de doo-dah day!

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the bay

See them flyin' on a ten mile heat
Doo-dah! Doo-dah!
Round the race track, then repeat
Oh! doo-dah day!

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the bay

I win my money on the bob-tail nag
Doo-dah! doo-dah!
I keep my money in an old tow-bag
Oh! de doo-dah day!

Goin' to run all night
Goin' to run all day
I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag
Somebody bet on the bay

eLyrics.net - Song Lyrics

Notice in the al johson version it is somebody bet on the bay (not the grey)
this breaks up on my slow connection

-----
try to find a version fast cadence that you like.

best of a bad lot:

I spent a lot of time looking for a go0d version so the lyrics could be improved

Many of you may know of vision boards. The idea is to find visual representations of goals you are working toward and add these pictures to a board and spend time each day meditating on it and seeing each goal as a realized reality in the present - complete with as much sensory input as you can muster- touch taste feeling, strong positive emotions.

You saturate each visualization with the deep colour of strong emotion - actually making it come alive in your mind - experiencing it as fully and as intensely as possible.

Embue it with joy, satisfaction, pride of accomplishment - living the future fully NOW.

Aikido

Aikido is often translated as "the way of unifying (with) life energy"[1] or as "the way of harmonious spirit
Ueshiba envisioned aikido not only as the synthesis of his martial training, but as an expression of his personal philosophy of universal peace and reconciliation.

In the lessons there is the idea of grounding or connecting to the energy of the adversary.
You connect and redirect it, You actually use his strength to your direction.

The other day I had the idea of using this concept in trading.

I didn't write it down at the time and it has slipped just off the edge of recall...

1:56 PM 5/14/2016

In the first lesson the instructor asked; "Did we wanted to see some magic"?

Yes!
---

We did some exercises with energy. The last was "Immoveable mountain".
A person stands on each side of you and you stand with arms down by yours sides and locked.
First with your center of being "in the top of your bead" - normal state they try to life you and can easily do it.
Next you center your being and connected it rooted deeply into the center of the earth.
When ready you nod that you are ready.

I was standing doing this centering - trying to ground strongly.
the instructor standing on my right and holding my right arm (the strongest girl on my left)
said" Oh he's ready" -before I nodded!

Then they tried to lift me.
The girl couldn't raise her side - even the slightest.
The instructor only an inch or so.

Even more amazing that their inability to lift me was, to me, that the instructor could sense I was ready through the contact!

He could feel the energy shift in me!

Such thoughts will help events to turn out that way."

p61 Power of Positive Thinking, Chp 5 how to Create your Own Happiness.

I am revisiting the older posts on this great thread.

Coming across this one, it reminded me of a famous TED Talk about happiness. Here it is, for those who haven't seen it.

I was chatting about blue moods and getting oneself out of them.

Often we focus on what is wrong/missing and not on what is right/having, which makes sense in the hierarchy of needs. If we haven't slept that's what we need, haven't eaten we are hungry, cold seek warmth etc. When we have these and the other basic needs met we can more on to other areas.

What do we do when we can't meet our needs but still want to control our mood lifting it from depressed to positive?

Sometimes we can't in one go.

some ideas - make a list of all our strengths abilities, gifts, accomplishments and good things we have done and have done for others. Be generous. Put aside your critical nature - do it in the way a loving and generous and supportive friend would. (sure we have our weakness and areas for improvement - keep those for later).

e.g.
I am intelligent.
I am a good person.
I care for others.
I am considerate.
I am honest
I am trustworthy.
I am reliable and dependable.
etc. etc.

This technique is for getting you to middle ground or neutral.

1. throw your arms to the sky and shout YES! YES! YES! forcing a smile on your face as you do.
repeat 3 times or more

--Jack Canfield (I think)

2. looking in a mirror (if possible) force a big smile on your face and say:
"I'm great! I'm great!I'm great!"
then have a laugh at yourself - go ahead no-one is watching

-- Tony Robbins

3. Dance to some upbeat music

Here are some thoughts on actualizing the idea of visualization === > manifestation.
(I have not achieved this, rather I am speaking here of a distillation of many books and other inputs)
(This was prompted by a great PM.)

How do I develop the belief I deserve success, love, joy happiness and abundance.?

1. Paint a picture in words of yourself with abundance, love, joy happiness and abundance.
(Include all the key points and enough specific detail such that if someone else was to wave a wand and create it for you you wouldn't say" "Oh I didn't mean that")

2. Color your word picture with emotion.
(Imbue it. Saturate it. Joy love happiness pride of achievement -whatever combination feels right for you.)

3. Attach keywords each part of your visualization.
("Safe and secure" might be linked to you ideal home & family
"With ease and perfection" might be linked to your day trading.
etc)

4. Set a schedule for your visualization recharge times (best linked to key daily activities)

5. Set aside a time to review your achievements. Best done in handwriting in a note book
(Ten things I accomplished today. This is always in the positive.
e.g.
1. I remembered to check the momentum and reg channel before entering the trade.
2. I updated my spreadsheets.
3. I took my vitamins
4. I ate a good breakfast.
etc.
Not in the negative, so not: I did not forget to take my vitamins.)

6. Set a time to be grateful.
(Ten things you are thankful for. Best done in handwriting in a note book. This is always in the positive.)

7. Set a time for exercise.
8. Eat well - good food.
9. Drink lots of clean pure water.
10. Set a time to be quiet, centered and then think of your main activity (e.g. daytrading) with the questions:
"What actions should I take tomorrow?"
"How can I improve my results?"
let you intuition give you ideas. Turn down the volume on the logical mind and let your intuitive side speak.

-- this same exercise can be re-done again with your logical mind.

..........
peace, love and joy to you

Often we have a block stopping our actualization (manifestation of our vision)

A wonderful family with two happy young girls sat at the next booth in MacDonalds
The youngest starting singing a little song quietly to herself:

"The best is me."

- a couldn't agree more. What a great way to build self-esteem.
In effect her little song to herself was an affirmation and affirmations are said to be the only way to cultivate a new belief (Napolean Hill, Chp 2 of "Think and Grow Rich")

Another little song could be

"I deserve the best,
All the good
all the rest."

9. Drink lots of clean pure water.

When I came to the US for a holiday I tried Aquafina. I know they say it's just purified tap water but I loved it. I loved its taste.

Shame I can't find it in the UK!

The other day 3 men came into Timmys wearing identical tshirt and pants - like a uniform.

On the front was "fighting Calcums" with picture of an Irish leprechaun and on the back Jackson 3.
I inquired what the T-shirts were about.

"Our friend's son has cancer and these are in support."
-What kind of cancer?
"Leukemia"
- ouch, not good
"No not good"

- Don't forget to pray - when all else fails
"I pray every day"
-Here's a little trick when you are praying for him -see him as fully recovered, happy and in compete health. Most people make the mistake of praying for someone and seeing them sick."

So it is with asking to receive your visualization. See it as achieved complete and perfect and be happy and give thanks. (Don't see the current state when asking for a change.)

Andrew Menamaker-

Get your game face on - rehearsal
1. HALT are you Hungry anxious, looney, tired ? you need every ounce of your being with you.

2. Do lots of rehersals of trade situations both positive and negative so you are ready for anything. = make them vivid

Use a bio-feedback to help you reduce negative reponses you want to get rid of and enchance postive responses you want to increase.
Positive imagery - where you are acting in your own best interest and on traders you respect. Mentally imagery follows the same neuropathways but in reverse - see it and then do it. (lots of science - CAT scans etc)
Before your trading seat have a trading ritual. Tap your bat on the plate -reduce your anxiety. something that you associate on relaxation.
To help you stay in the moment - "am I acting in my own best interest" Focusing on doing what is right not about being right.
Per define your risk and truly embracing that risk - accept the risk before you trade. A losing trade can be impowering is you have: traded according to your trade rules, trade parameters, when you have a real edge, and you have true self-confidence because it provides you information about where the market is going.

Pre-game warmup

I was speaking with an elite basketball coach and had shared with him a little about the prep for the trading day and asked him for his ideas as he does it in basketball.

------------------
Elite basketball players go through a pre-game warmup. They take shots getting the feel of the ball, the backboard and the rim. They start close in doing easy shots from the right side and left side and slowly work their way further from the net.

By the time they have finished they may have taken 60 to 100 shots.

This professional coach recommended for traders:
1. Before turning on your screen - go through each of the different situations (setups) you might face and know what your actions will be for each.
2. Also review your list of trading rules.

Sounded like good advice to me!

[my thoughts]
Forgiveness is the Antidote to Failure

If we forgive ourselves we release ourselves from self-recrimination
Self-recrimination damages our self-esteem.
Self-esteem takes 10 positive reinforcements to be over-ride one negative cut to our self-esteem due to our ingrained negative bias preference.
We need strong self-esteem to over-ride the negative experiences of the market - it is the armour to deflect the slings and arrows of the trading occupation.

Our strong self-esteem improves our P&L by allowing us to:
1. Focus on our process not on the market outcome.
2. Approach our trading with equanimity - market outcomes are not grading our self-esteem.
3. Our self-esteem is independent of profits and losses

Planning

"Transformation of the intangible impulse of desire into the tangible reality of money calls for the use of a plan, or plans. "

This is from think and Grow Rich. I think that in a key factor is in this quote.
It that the first step - on the material plane - the first step of bringing energy in matter is the creation of a plan.
It is the first tangible.

I have been listening to Bob Proctors videos on creating and watch several over the last few days.
There seems to be a cumulative effect, a synergistic effect of studying the same material presented in different ways.
Also I have been faithfully doing the meditation each day.

"Nature yields her most profound secrets to those who are determined to uncover them."

The field of science is perhaps the best illustration of how success always seems to come to those who apply the principle of accurate thinking in a persistent, determined effort. America’s great inventor Thomas A. Edison is said to have failed 10,000 times in his attempt to develop a workable electric light bulb. He learned from each failure and refused to quit until he succeeded. Breakthroughs occur every day because a determined person continues to search for solutions to complex problems long after everyone else has given up and gone home. You may not invent the light bulb or the next supercomputer, but you can find creative solutions to old problems if you apply the proven principles of success consistently and persistently.

-----------end of thought of the day--------

Many people do not truly understand the important of persistence.
They may know the story of the light bulb but not truly catch the meaning. Then they might easily tell someone else involved in a great endevour to "give up".

Why?

What great achievement have they created they feel that gives them the right to tell someone else to "give up" their life's endevour? They think, if it can be called that at the most superficial of levels.

While the Universe gives eventual success to those who intelligently persist (adapt and continue to persist), there is nothing guaranteed to the those who quit.

Persistence is the ability to continue in the face of difficulties.

A hallmark of character is the ability to persist. To those who persist far beyond where the weak-willed quit the great achievements of history lie.

hi aquarian! If I may - I'd turn the sentence above on its head and say that, while success is not guaranteed when persisting, probability of failure is 100% when quitting.

Lyrics - Jimmy Cliff
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18EAqHx2lMk

You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
But you must try, try and try, try and try
You'll succeed at last

Persecution you must fear
Win or lose you got to get your share
You've got your mind set on a dream
You can get it though hard it may seem now

You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
But you must try, try and try, try and try
You'll succeed at last

I know it - listen

Rome was not built in a day
Opposition will come your way
But the hotter the battle you see
Is the sweeter the victory now

You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
But you must try, try and try, try and try
You'll succeed at last

I Can see clearly now - Jimmy Cliff
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzGV9Bl6CGg

Lyrics

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day

It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day

Oh, yes I can make it now the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is that rainbow I've been praying for

It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day

Look all around, there's nothing but blue skies
Look straight ahead, there's nothing but blue skies

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Here is that rainbow I've been praying for
It's gonna be a bright (bright)

Bright (bright) sunshiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
Bright (bright), bright (bright)
Bright sunshiny day
It's going to be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright)

not mental imagery - but related

there have been numerous studies that indicate discipline ( a necessary ingredient in trading, I will assume)
is like a muscle - that tires the closer we get to the end of the day and the more we use it that day.

So, might want to consider trading earlier in the day - and making less trades.

I was taught a method for manifesting through visualization by a shaman once. It worked for what I sought it for but have not found the exact right visualization for my trading. This thread has me thinking about this again so thanks to all who have contributed. I do feel that it is very specific to the person as is stated in this thread. I also picked up that the mood and setting are important factor.

The method as taught to me is to come up with something short only a few minutes and repeatable, something very specific to EXACTLY what you are trying to accomplish. This example was given: There was a woman who was desperate to finish her PHD dissertation but just could not get it done. She pictured herself walking to the mailbox, taking out a large envelope, sitting at her desk, picking up a letter opener, slicing open the letter and pulling out her diploma. After doing this she had her PHD in 3 months after years of struggle.

I think the key is to keep it short, detailed, specific. Smell the smells, see the sights on the way to the mail box, feel the joy of opening the letter and seeing the diploma. Really be in the visualization. Repeat this short same visualization every day.

I would love to see some specific trader visualizations that mimic this method. I am thinking for me it might have to do with overcoming some aspect of my trading that is holding me back. I need to think about this more. Thanks again all, great stuff.

I was speaking a very intelligent fellow working on his Phd in neuropsychology. We got talking of trading and my "system". He was a very quick study and had a rapid mind. After a broadbrush of my system, he asked me
"why don''t you backtest it? - that would be what I would do."

It was a logical question and a natural progression for a "hard science" mind.
I realized that no answer I could give would be sufficient.

The true answer boiled down to my belief paradigm was so different from others (how I viewed "reality"). my view of reality so different that I could not answer his question with a meaningful construct to his world view.

My Phases:
1. See (in your mind on the non-physical plane)
2. Believe
3. Create
4. Continue and Persist
5. Materialize on the Physical plane

@Turkey

Thank-you very much for contributing to the thread. I am very interested the subject you have mentioned - creation via Shamanism.

I think the example you gave (phd - envelope etc) is excellent. It is powerful because of the specificity.

I understand your requests for specific examples of visualizations connected to trading success. (Actually when I started this thread I was hoping that we would receive many contributions of specific visualizations that elite traders have used to create/manifest/achieve trading success - just as you have asked for. I am still hoping that people who are more skillful than I on Google will source and post specific visualizations used by the elite traders of the world.)

I was hoping to use a variety of examples as a springboard to assist me in creating my own visualization.

If you were to speculate as to the reason behind your difficulty for creating a visualization for trading what do you think it might be? (Many thanks in advance for sharing - should you choose to - either here or via PM) !

Once again thanks for the great post and I hope you will provide more details of Shamanistic Creation techniques -
-mood
-setting
-etc
in later posts if you are not violating a trust in doing so.

I have also heard of (and experienced) trading stress fatigue.

So while you are in a trade that is swinging from red to green (PLwise) the stress builds the longer you are in the trade -assuming you are monitoring it -and have a small account balance.

These days of choppy narrow range ES, after 45 minutes of green/black the stress is great and relief from closing out is huge.

Your Invisible Power
(1921)
Genevieve Behrend

The older prosperity manuals are often the best, and Genevieve Behrend’s writings provide a charming entry point to the genre. It is fascinating to sit down with Your Invisible Power after reading contemporary manifestation and ‘law of attraction’ books like The Secret and Ask And It Is Given, as you realize that that much of their ideas are not new, with Behrend having studied and written about this material 80 years previously.

Behrend was the only known pupil of Thomas Troward (1847-1916), a former judge in the Punjab of British India who in his spare time had studied the world’s sacred books and become a metaphysical philosopher. He was a master, according to Behrend, of “the laws governing the relation on between the individual and the Universal Mind”. In addition to his celebrated Edinburgh lectures, highly praised by philosopher William James, Troward is best know for his book The Creative Process in the Individual, which argues that the fulfilment of our individual personalities is vital for the evolution of the universe. His thinking was seminal in the emergence of the New Thought movement and Ernest Holmes’ ‘Science of Mind’.

His work was not easy reading, however, and Behrend took it upon herself to simplify his ideas for a larger audience. In the manner of Florence Scovell Shinn (see Secret Door To Success in 50 Success Classics), who also lived in New York in the 1920s, Behrend’s short book combines spiritual principles with anecdotes of her work to help people appreciate their abundant nature.

Compared to its modern counterparts, Your Invisible Power is more focused on visualization to achieve desires, and is also distinguished by its concept that every person is ‘God in miniature’. In practical terms, this means that when you have feelings of lack, you have just forgotten your connection to ‘Divine abundance’.
