Plan for success

opportunities

Opportunities are not windfalls.

Winning a sweepstakes makes you instantly rich; encountering an opportunity means you will have to go to work.

When you have attuned your mind to recognize opportunities, you will understand that most often they involve the exploitation of some potential, such as providing a new or better service, streamlining production, or reaching a new market.

This is why the habit of initiative is so important. You must be prepared to act as soon as you recognize an opportunity. The action may be simply further investigation, or it may be making an instant sale. Most often, however, an opportunity takes time and perseverance to develop.

1. take a pen and paper and write out 10 things you are really grateful for. (You've gotta be Really grateful).
2. send love to 3 people that are bothering you (you don't like them that doesn't matter you are raising you vibration)
3. for 5 minutes be completely quiet and ask for guidance for the day.

Your old condition causes the fear. To get through the terror barrier say to yourself:
"I understand what is causing this worry and it is not justified.
It is not justified.
It is the old conditioning that is causing the worry."

However, if you allow yourself to get emotionally involved with the worry then it will set up fear and fear must be expressed through the only instrument it can your body. This is where the anxiety comes from.

"I going to go through the barrier and the way that I will do this it to continually play with the new idea, the goal over and over again."
This is where the repetition comes in.

Whenever you go to raise the bar, to do something you are not conditioned to do, the terror barrier will come up.

------------------------ my thoughts on the terror barrier --------

By getting emotionally involved with the new idea you raise your vibration to that idea which is high and higher than the lower vibration of fear. This will give you respite from the anxiety.

The unknown anxiety producing because we do not know how to accomplish the task or if we will succeed. If we see the success in our mind and live it in our mind we are telling the subconscious we will succeed for it can see the image of our success.

The subconscious cannot tell the difference between a vividly imagined idea and reality. So to the subconscious, at the time of our vivid imagining of success - success is a reality. Not in the future in the now. For the subconscious does not deal with the future or past. If we hold a past memory in our mind we are there at that moment in the past re-living it. If we hold a future memory in our mind we are there at that moment in the future and living it.

This is an very important concept.

Emotions

Both positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time.

Perhaps we can extend this to trading:
Both images of successful trading and failed trade cannot occupy the mind at the same time.

If we are imaging how the trade will fail our apprehension can cloud our judgement and cause trade execution errors, cutting a good trade short.

Re-listening


This evening I was re-listening to Paradigm shift Ep2.
(2.Paradigm Shift Bob Proctor - Keeping the Main Thing the Main Thing Ep. 2)

In it Bob tells the story about how he got a Prudential Life insurance agent to sell $5M of insurance in a year.
I have listened to the recording many times and the story many times as well.

As I was listening this evening I could see in my mind when the agent, Don Slocum, came up to him in the break and challenged him;

"You've never sold insurance have you?
-No.

"I thought not."
-Why do you say that?

"Because you don't know what you're talking about,"
-Oh I do know what I'm talking about, I just said I had never sold insurance.

"Do you know that Prudential is the largest insurance company in the world?"
-I've heard that.

"Do you know that Prudential is almost 100 years old?"
-I've heard that too.

"Do you know that no one in the history of the company has EVER sold $5m in a year."
-Well you can be the first.

Don went on to sell $6m by the end of the year even though the seminar was in August..

As I listened to the story I was thinking how often most people bring up that because someone has never done something no one can.

Yet our history is full of stories that show that statement isn't true.

If we believe we are beings who can connect to unlimited intelligence and we have seen many stories in our history of people achieving what others said was impossible - why do we work to limit our potential?

Perhaps it will take some effort, some focus, some dedication and persistence to do what others say is impossible, but the vision of it being possible is the key first step on that journey.
