For me tony buzan mind map method was the best - it use creativity just to design it.
IMO the importance is that WE-creators understand and know what we write on our mind map - best way to achieve it, is to draw as nice as it is. somehow it sound stupid but when you *feel all the word that we write, we manage to knew and remember those words/arrangement
Making your trading system to a mind map was a GREAT IDEA !
@Angelo1 Hi - I'm in the north west near Outer Harbour.
I've attached another mindmap about goal setting for people to peruse. I never got around to putting lots of images on this one, which is a pity as it does add to the effectiveness of the map.
Anyway goal setting is important in all aspects of life. Hope people get something out of the map.
When they started as a company i used their first version to organise links and bits of info i needed when i worked for an IT company as a consultant. Was impressed by the user interface. It was innovative.
Hi Meggs thanks for getting back to me, I've downloaded the 7 day imindmap trial great program & thanks for the feedback too
favour to ask,
are you trading these days & using Ninja?
if you are, are you willing to spend a few hours with me as I'm struggleing with Ninja & getting fluent with placing trades on super DOM etc, I'm a kinesthetic learner, goes along way with confidence for me, if you are ok with that I have a large trading office out the back of our house as a place to meet if that suits.
Cheers Angelo
you can email me directly as i can not due to not being Elite enough!
Using Mind Maps already a very long time to visualize complex situations (most of them for my own purpose
and others for instructional use) there are many good programs on the market.
One of the most useful and easy to use for Mac users I found here:
A strong function is to zoom into a branch and see more and more details in there without losing the big picture.
Great possibilities to hide some films / animations / sounds / form letters etc. in a subbranch.
One could possibly add a 3rd dimension to mind maps with De Bono's Six Thinking Hats. I found it to be an extremely useful way to categorize information.
"Six distinct states are identified and assigned a color:
Information: (White) - considering purely what information is available, what are the facts?
Emotions (Red) - instinctive gut reaction or statements of emotional feeling (but not any justification)
Bad points judgment (Black) - logic applied to identifying flaws or barriers, seeking mismatch
Good points judgment (Yellow) - logic applied to identifying benefits, seeking harmony
Creativity (Green) - statements of provocation and investigation, seeing where a thought goes
Thinking (Blue) - thinking about thinking"
Essentially, any subject or strategy can be analyzed along those dimensions. Forces one to be complete and look at things from many different angles... reveals surprising perspectives sometimes. Just try it.
You are never in the wrong place... but sometimes you are in the right place looking at things in the wrong way.
