Does anybody know of any Excel templates(or any other tool) that would return a suite of account analysis charts and graphs like the ones in NinjaTrader(except way more comprehensive?) from my broker's downloaded trade history?

Hi, you mean a Trading log/journal for analysing your trades.

Here is a comercial one that I use and like: Trading Journal > Trading Spreadsheet > Trading Log - Stock, Futures, Forex
--> available for Futures, Stocks, Forex...

A free Trading Journal is available for OpenOffice/LibreOffice: Tools: Trading-Journal | DaytradingTeam.de
--> the website is in german
--> download link: TradingJournal_106.ods

I suppose the first one is more what I am looking for(I don't use OpenOffice, so the other is out!), but I was hoping to find something that was more graphically oriented, like NinjaTrader's analysis tools. I suppose I just need to try and modify some excel charts and see what I come up with. Was hoping to avoid this, cause I like to use Microsoft Apps as little as possible.

This looks like a great product, but is way more comprehensive/sophisticated than I need. I really just need some chart templates to import my data into so I can visualize it. I can't afford $500 right now for chart template functionality! :-) Thanks for the link. Perhaps when my position sizes are bigger, I'll be able to justify the expense.

Thanks for the link! This isn't for me either. I don't need it to interview me and tell me how it thinks I need to trade. Just something to turn the numbers into pictures!

Although this a journal, it has a few nifty things in it:

I am uncertain as to what you mean by way more comprehensive; given the lack of details here are some additional pointers..

Money management software :: Market System Analyzer

If you just want overall data analysis without spending the $$$, then try this one.. it is an excellent product..

Tableau Public | Tableau Software

You can also look at TApro, I use it for myself... it will generate some reports and aid you on the tax filing...

Schedule D Portfolio Management Software - TradeAccountant: Reconciliation Tools, Trade Journal, Expire Options, Wash Sales, 4797, 6781, Export to Excel or Tax Software (TaxCut and TurboTax as .txf).

lastly, you can always grab excel and create the charts and analysis you need... there are a lot of things you can do with powerpivots in excel 2010..
