Hi cory,

I do understand that I can use multiple data providers with separate instances of Sierra Chart. Is that what you meant? If so, it would just be nice if my main feed (CTS) provided that. If you meant something else, please clarify.

Thanks.

as long as you install 744 or higher and your package is 3 or higher you have these SC makes stats.

Interesting. @cory, can you clarify where these are coming from? It seems as though they are providing them directly from their side, so it would work independent of your own data feed service (including feeds which do not support breadth indicators, like Rithmic) ?

Sierra Charts is coming back in September for an 'advanced topics' webinar and Q&A, I'd like to see this mentioned

somebody already asked the same question they said they calculated it but didn't mention data source

Gotta love some of their replies...

Sierra Chart
These are calculated indexes and they are not going to match other services. Every source is going to be different, the data does not come from the exchange. It is only derived off of exchange data. If it works good for you, that's good and if you feel it is not going to work for you, then we recommend another source. The data is from a quality and trusted source, so hopefully it will work for you. And we cannot say more than that. The choice is yours.

Nonetheless, interesting for those not using DTN already.

I like blue, what can I say? And what a lovely shade of blue it is...

I got this to work with Zen-Fire (which I do not use), but couldn't find a way with CTS. I will check with Sierra Chart support. If this works out, it will be nice assuming the update frequency is high enough. Thanks for the information, I hadn't noticed Sierra Chart had added this feature.

All right, I did get it to work with CTS data. Again, thanks for pointing that out. It would be interesting to know the data source, but apparently they are not willing to divulge that information. I will compare Sierra Chart's implementation with IQFeed to get a feel for the accuracy.
