@trymph

Hello.

The white coloured bar POC's in post 166 are from the FootprintV2 indicator. They are covered over by NT's Volumetric yellow coloured bar POC's in the template I posted at post 167.

Hope that helps

@zt379
Thanks for your quick reply

I'm attaching my end result screenshot & template.xml using your helpful guidance. It took me a while to realize using "Numbers" (vs Profile) in Display Type gets the boxed Footprint per your screenshot. Then with quite a bit of color adjusting, I discovered that its the "Profile Color" (white in this instance per my black background preference) that dictates what seems to be the POC on the footprint bar (WITHIN a Volumetric chart even). I then used the attached template on my original Volumetric Footprint chart and low and behold (after several hours looking at my wristwatch j/k) SOB if the POC didnt print on the Bars too; I think/hope (in white per the screenshot here). The POC on bar chart radial button did NOT need to be checked/active; also FYI the Footprint radial button in Mike's Footprint V2 indicators settings was greyed out but realized it could be activated using the top menu toggle "Fooprint". Coding is an extremely admirable skill which I could never master; great work Mike and as always thanks.

Bare in mind I use another price chart with many other indicators(eg price action) and Mike's Footprint chart exclusively to give me some insight on a real time tick x tick basis whether "they" are buying or selling. POC is an intrigal part of what used to be exclusive to the trading floor's sights and sounds with who was who by reputation among other clues.

@mk77ch

Today was my first day using the footprint chart and absolutely loved it.

Question:

Noticed the footprint indicator creates numerous drawing objects when its running (see the image below)

Are these objects automatically removed when we close Ninjatrader? Or do we have to remove them manually, so they dont get saved?

As far as i understand, having too many drawing objects saved on chart will slow down the perfomance of NT.

Please let me know. Thank you

Thanks! Is it possible to add more delta signals like the ones below and have those signal plots exporting to Market Analyzer?

https://tradedevils-indicators.com/products/footprint-orderflow-indicator-ninjatrader

Delta Signals
The footprint order flow indicator can show several delta signals like
- Above / below POC signal
- Delta Rise
- Delta Drop
- Delta Tail
- Delta Reversal
- Delta Divergence
-Delta flip
- Delta Trap
- Delta Continous POC
- Delta Sweep
- Trapped Traders

@mk77ch Mike,

I wanted to post today's trading. Not a lot of trades but I the last few weeks I spent time dialing down timeframes and removing all indicators but the delta.
I'm obsessed with the my MAE's. I could have traded more, but I felt my concentration waning. So I recorded the rest of the session for me to study and be better.

Also turned off the momo tails in jigsaw and that made a big difference in reading price and watching stop runs.

Hey @brettji,

great looking charts!
When trading such fast timeframes you really have to reduce and optimize the visuals so you can process these informations and make good trading decisions.

I love your approach and how the volume map adds value to these charts.

All the best,
Mike

Hello,

these drawing objects are the lines drawn by the zig zag to calculate and display the cumulative delta swings.

you can make them visible by changing the zig zag plot color from transparent to another color in the indicator properties.

they are removed when you remove the indicator from your chart and are managed by the indicator.

these are not a lot of drawing objects and nt8 should be able to easily handle these without running into performance issues.

All the best,
Mike

Hello,

the TradeDevils footprint is a really nice and very advanced product.

I have been thinking for quiet some time to implement orderflow related signals and will
do so as soon as soon as i find the time to do so.

All the best,
Mike

Thank you ~ Your Delta maps really help keeping me on the right side of the trade and for the dynamic stop placement....

I deleted the old version and installed version 2 from the most current link and it is still requesting tick replay to be enabled. Any reason why?
