Its not working right now with all this volatility that over rides normal patterns but normally yes, it works.
After reading his book and testing it out, I put the 13 / 21 EMA, keltner channels and squeeze indicators on almost all my charts. It’s been very helpful. If you don’t want to pay for it somebody programmed it in pine on trading view.
So what it is if you weren’t already aware is bollinger bands inside of a 1.5 keltner channel. So it’s using 2 metrics to confirm an extremely tight trading range where bulls/bears are fighting it out and when it breaks this range it’s liable to follow through significantly as 1 side has capitulated for any number of reasons and we’re now in price discovery finding the new range.
Obviously as you’ve probably seen, in a situation like we’re in now where things whipsaw with the latest news a lot of indicators have stopped working like they used to.
It is advertised as a 'free' indicator but to get the package it costs $695.
Not my definition of free.
Also, if you check Futures.io I'm sure you can find a similar indicator and 'make your own' similar or identical.
Most of what I see from this is hype.
Indicators use history, almost none predict what will happen.
I'd pass
