I just started using Jigsaw with the bridge to NinjaTrader. Does anyone know if it is possible to execute the ATM strategies created in NT when placing orders by clicking on the DOM/Depth and Sales of Jigsaw?
Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I'll preface by saying this is just from my basic experience as a Jigsaw platform user.
No it isn't possible because the ATM strategies come from the platform. If you enter the trades with Jigsaw you can only use their automated Strategy Manager for placing stops or targets on a trade.
Be careful to enter and exit positions through the same platform if say you enter on a Jigsaw DOM but adjust positions on a Ninja chart with Chart Trader and exit some positions on there. I found that with older versions of Jigsaw, especially if using ATM strategies, the platforms could get confused if trade size was being adjusted in another platform to the one the trade was originally entered on.
Also this may just be terminology, but the Ninjatrader bridge is old technology from when the Jigsaw platform was still a plugin for NT7. Although the bridge is still available for some platforms, if you are actually using that, you would be better off using the Jigsaw daytradr Connection Manager to get the data directly with your Ninjatrader login details, rather than pulling it out of the Ninjatrader platform with the bridge connection.

Thanks for the reply.
Regarding "the Bridge". I just followed the guide in the platform manual and the video linked to YT, it does say 2017, so I guess this is the old way.
I have a Rithmic data feed going to NT. I'm not sure how I would setup the connection manager for NT credentials though.
Forgot what I said. Looking at the Jigsaw manual in daytradr I see they refer to a bridge for Ninja 8.
I realise it was me getting confused. The old version used to be the "plugin" version that used an indicator for Ninjatrader that pulled the data in to Jigsaw. That version has been discontinued.
There was then a bridge version for Tradovate data in to daytradr but that Tradovate bridge version was discontinued as daytradr now uses the Connection Manager for data.
I assumed all "bridge" versions had gone but I guess the benefit is it can reduce the number of separate data connections required with some of the platforms which allow that.
Sorry about mistakenly throwing in that confusion.

Thanks for the heads up on possibilities with the Depth and Sales or lack thereof. I think I could stick with Jigsaw, it does seem to present the order flow in a manner a little different than what I was doing... reading the flow off a 1 min volume scope chart. Kinda similar but seeing orders pulled and added is a nice feature, and being able to reset the order count whenever you want.
I just wish they had more options for exit strategies, like NT does. I really don't care for anything about NT except it has good options for custom brackets.
Is that how you use Jigsaw, with NT or do you just use the vanilla brackets on Jigsaw?
Ninja does have lots of good ATM options but I don't use it anymore and am now using Jigsaw with the Tradovate platform. I enter trades, stops, targets on the Jigsaw DOM.
