What is the best platform to trade the ES mini? I need something that has a floating tick counter, ATM strategies & good trend line drawings (ie. anything besides Ninjatrader)
Can you help answer these questions from other members on futures io?
These days there are plenty of good charting and execution platforms, just have to do your due diligence. I'm sure there is one that will suit your needs... Multicharts, Metatrader, Sierra Chart etc...
Just started a trial with Sierra Chart they have good pricing you get full use of the software they don't give you a basic version for low monthly cost, or lock you in a lifetime platform fee where your stuck with software you spent lot of money on later you might not like. It has all those features your asking about but like all of these takes time to learn how to use them so many buttons and configuration. I want to use their server side simulator where I can test out my trading system get comfortable with using the software. I have a trial for ninjatrader now it only gives me a simulated account during market hours. I don't like their pricing structure where they give a basic version then if you want more features turned on have to step up to higher monthly fee, or lifetime.
