Hi, i've got question. How to read the csv file with tick data. I import this file into sotware which is reading this and in the program i can se that there is 64 tick volume at 20:17 but i have no idea how the program read this from this csv file. Someone could explain me this?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Generally, with most data processing softwares CSV is the preferred form of data importing. So, basically it can be read by anything, that ranges from trading software's to excels/gsheets/pythons etc etc
However, generally, you need to adjust the settings which tells the software how to find rows and columns in the said csv file. So it can read it correctly. As name suggest, CSV, is just comma separated data and lacks the formatting of the proper excel file, which you will usually save in when you are working.
