Hi all, wasn't finding a super clear answer on this.
But I use IB (have to for work purposes) and I swing/position trade futures. In the past, I've relied on TOS for my charting, but they don't provide data for NYBOT stuff like Sugar, OJ, etc.
So to get everything in one place, I'm trying to use the IB charting system since I already pay for multiple exchange data feeds. HOWEVER, the charts take forever to load. Even though I don't trade intraday, it can be an absolute pain waiting 30-45 seconds for a single chart to load (and not even the entire historical daily series).
Has anyone found a good solution to this? Should I use something like TS, but using IB data incase it's the TWS system? Or have people generally just had to go to another charting service + pay a separate fee for data?
Again, I don't need decades of tick data, but what I do need is to look at daily/weekly/monthly data fairly quickly and easily (and not having to double pay for exchange fees). I started looking at TradingView, but I though they didn't adjust for rolls properly (maybe they do and I was just looking at it wrong). Seems like that would be one reasonably priced solution.
