May I ask where you trained as a 'Wyckoffian trader' out of interest?

Wyckoff Analytics (former Golden Gate College) so Hank Pruden acolyte. Less Stock Market Institute. Also David Weise and Gary Fulton. Employed as primary market structure read based on 240 min chart for swing trades. Iíve been working at it everyday for more than 5 years and still learning. Iíve evolved into more of a Weise spring and up thrust trader.

you gave up on actual price and volume studies but now are going to focus on not real volume? the order book????? wow.
move on to anther idea entirerly. this is exactly what the hft spend billions on to make sure you never understand the order book no matter how fancy you get with it
thats like saying i am going to go watch the trading pits and make trades off of what i see yet you have no idea what is going on with all of it

let me save every trader on this forum and every trader in the future that reads this forum. IT TAKES millions and millions of dollars to analyze real time supply and demand of amn electronic order book and then you are competeing with other billionaires!! you are not a billionaire.. move on from any type of ultra short term trading.

let me explain this to you plain and simple. YES ULTRA SHORT TERM IS ALMOST RISKLESS and it pays enormous but it also cost literally 50 million just to enter and barely compete!
why is this because aka citadel started doing at the cme and instocks along with yes.. you guessed it renaissance tech virtu jump drw and the 20 to 50 REAL PROP firms that share in sme and stock rebates to the tune of almost trading for free!!

cme is 320K for a seat check
12k a month for live data check
then tick plants servers and network admins and programmers and scientists from MIT.. yes HIGHLY paid and then what are you bringing the table?
jigsaw and sierra chart.. ur joking right.

PLEASE save your money and brain power for a much more sane and potentialy lucrative endeavor. now market correlations.. ok.. i can get into that but
to try and analyze the order book and seek out hidden liquidity. um just bust that hidden liquididty with a 100o lot and then in 7 micro seconds when 100 fill cancel the other 900 can you do that? then move on.. can you place 1000s of GTC orders on the ES book and the NQ book and all futures order books simultaneously so that you always have priority but all you do is cancel them if it is not advbantageous for you to fill? NO! they can and do.. millions of HIDDEN ICEBERG GTC orders on all order books right now and have been there for months

that is why if you know anyone who works at an HFT which I Do then they will tell you straight up.. you cannot win and even with a 1 minute speed bump we have our limit orders in day s and weeks ahead of time with GTC orders and we can take these down and not have them work at night and re start them keeping priority the next day yes this is possible at the cme believe ti or not. what in the name of all things HOLY is this moth to a flame attraction to people wanting to thinking the can beat companies who do 70 % of ALL FILLS and make pennies per contract even in the ES!! if you average all of the hft buys and sells they do no teven make a tick per day in the es usually.. they make fractions of ticks and fractions of the micro that is why teh CME will not raise rates all that often on the members but push out you and me retail from even scalping a little due to the exorbitant fees!!!
