Hello traders,

Say if you have moved on from SC, which platform you are on now. Please share the pros and cons please.

Thanks!

Whenever we brought up bugs as a IB and SC customers, SC engineers replied in a unprofessional manner.

The fact is we are just users, why should we get abused as a customer.

Sorry, but that's nothing new from them. What they lack in customer service they make up for in coding prowess.

First, thank you Big Mike for organizing trading resources such as this platform and Youtube. They are helpful for new traders like myself.

You are right about SC, I will not hesitate to migrate when I find a convenient alternative. I see no reason to stay loyal to such company.

Well, I wasn't suggesting that per se...

Just that they do one thing well, code. Service, not so much.

Clearly you have not worked with engineers before

They were saying for a long time that IB is garbage, and they were absolutely right.

SC is a great platform in my opinion. The thing that bugs me the most relative to customer support is that when a user has a question, their standard response is to point the user at that section of the online documentation to read. What they point to probably contains the answer, but at the same time itís them basically saying figure it out yourself....

What works best is to group with other traders and stay firm.

I has been already 8 years with SC. I have had max 10 questions / wishes to SC.
All solved smoothly, no problems no bad customer service.

If you are active trader then market will provide you 14,3 x more " headache " than SC customer service.

In this month I have already 59 losing trades but account is positive.

And as I remember IB and SC is not good match. It was even mentioned in SC internet site.

Notice: Sierra Chart technically supports Interactive Brokers but no technical help is provided when using Interactive Brokers with Sierra Chart. It is fine to use Interactive Brokers if there are no other choices for what you are trading or based upon your country of residency. However, if you have technical issues, you need to be self-sufficient and rely upon this documentation for help and other documentation on the Sierra Chart website.
