IB Connectivity - algo trading

Hi all

I've opened an account with Interactive Brokers and connected through Ninjatrader.
I sit with the common issue that every night you get kicked off without reconnecting.
I think maybe newer versions dont have this issue, but when talking to people at ninjatrader I have to use v 9.73

Just wondering how anyone else overcame this issue.
I've only seen 2 posts regarding TWStart (is this the solution) - dont know the software and it asks for your password

and some have suggested going to IQFeed.
I'm hesitant to move brokers so just wondering what everyone would recommend.

When I used NT7/Kinetick API to execute via IB I had one screen login, the one for IB. Somehow that IB log in connected everything and remained connected until I logged off.

I was able to establist that through the expert tech assistance @NinjaTrader open a ticket and request a phone call.

I use NT8 with IB Gateway 973.2h and no problem i am automatically reconnected. I am on hdc1.ibllc.com.

Seems the IB Gateway works - been up for 2 days now.
