Yes, TOS has many features especially for options that are not available in MW. MW is IMHO best for advanced charting, but the caveat is that you need the right data to use all its features. For futures that means something like CQG/Rithmic.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on futures io?
I've been using Motivewave for several years now and recently upgraded to the pro addition using IB as my broker.
If I could trade as good as the platform works I'd be in tall cotton....lol
I have the Ultimate MW as well .... Love Love Love it! Only hard part for me is the lack of custom indies and I have no idea how to code. Speaking of that .... are any of you MW er's coding with the SDK Programming Kit? If so .. do you need some practice? I have an easy (well should be easy if you know how to do it) study that I would like to have or use
I have recently ordered Pro edition of MQ aswell. I purchased it because it runs on MAC. Still not trading with MW. I'm trading via TradingView atm and if i can migrate my custom indicators and get used to the platform i will start trading.
Also i find it a bit hard to confirm the connection of workspace each time. Isn't it possible to autoconnect instead of confirming with TDA or other forex and futures brokers? Why do i need to connect them each time?
Any motivewave users here using the google data connection. If so what are your thoughts. I personally think for historical data it flows better than tradestation
I have been on MW TRADER with Rithmic and the historic doen't show my P/L, unbelievably they say it's on the brokers side... but still, a lot better than any other I have tried so far, for the simple fact it is MAC native.
