I think it's not complex) with TPO chart (custom session doesn't work properly) and some improvements for DOM panel (last trade on price column). They promised to fix it.

Yes... I am having a problem with custom session setting too... I set it so I do not have to see the pre market and post market trades... but if I do then sometimes my stock data is NOT charted properly for different minute time periods Plus I cannot see Daily, Weekly or Monthly bars.

and THIS is with IQ Feed which is rock solid for stocks.

Please post if and when they help you... TY

Quantower is really buggy, and seems not a decent trading platform, I had tried it few months and stop using it.

First, when you refresh chart, tick chart will display inconsistency. I use CQG, but another platform will not have this problem.

Second, indicator of DailyOHLC have bugs, open price and previous close price at intraday tick charts are always different from daily chart, and sometimes intraday highest price or intraday lowest price are different from daily chart too, I contact with Quantower Support tru telegram many times, they ask me to use minute charts......

Third, if you are using CQG, no trailing stop.(Rithmic has trailing stop, however only can have single bracket order)

Forth, I have sometimes Chart didn't refresh, this really scared me.

Does Quantower have an external API? For eg if I want my own c# application to receive quotes from the Quantower platform?

Here is a hyper link to QT's help docs on using C# & Visual Studio for custom indicators...

QT Custom C# Coding

But I have NOT found their support to be even consistently responsive to minor bug requests for QT's own coded existing indicator issues (read comments above this one from me and others) let alone intricate custom coding issues you may have...

but maybe you will have better response then I did/We did.

Yes, I have seen this, but this is only about building dll files that can be used by their platform. I am looking for something similar like DTC protocol for SierraChart. I have already asked QT about it and got no reply.

BTW, I think what they are doing is great because you can connect the platform to basically anything. I will definitely keep an eye on them. Since I have already coded my own priceladder and my own algorithms, I will not use it unless they open up their platform for external apps.

Selling the maximum (all connections and all functions) lifetime license for quantower due to non-use of this software with a 30% discount from the nominal price.

Quantower provides an API for creating your indicators and strategies. Also, you can develop your connector to any broker/exchange.
We don't provide a built-in API to publish data for external applications, but you can easily organize it using standard C# possibilities. For example, you can create a simple strategy that will subscribe for required symbols from required vendors and publish quotes/trades/level2 into a socket connection. From your application, you will need to establish a connection with this socket and then process data.

Hello, Sant.

Would you mind using our Quantower API Telegram group ("quantowerAPI") if you need any help developing your indicators/strategies/connectors? Our developers are regularly assisting community members there as well as posting code examples.

Hi @QuantowerSupport,

I just now saw your "Introduce yourself here" post this morning and your posts here.

Since you are representing Quantower, I have marked your account as a vendor account. I have also moved the thread from the "Platforms and Indicators" section to the more appropriate "Trading Reviews and Vendors" section.

I invite you to review the section of the forum's Terms and Conditions regarding vendors, under the section titled "Vendors and Self-Promotion" at this link: https://nexusfi.com/disclaimer/

You can see from this policy that our concern is that vendors do nothing of a promotional nature to increase the business of their firm. We do welcome vendors who operate within the rules to provide factual information that is requested by our members, and it is a good thing that you are available to respond here.

The essential thing to keep in mind are that nothing of a promotional nature is permitted, but useful information is welcome, in response to specific member questions. Within this thread, which is devoted to your product, if a specific question is posed, you are welcome to respond with the information that is asked for. It is preferred that specific answers to questions be given in the thread so they will be available to other members reading it. If there is a general question that requires a reference to a resource outside the forum, such as where to go for more support, that is fine. But please keep most responses within the thread, and remember that promotional responses or links are not fine. Your current posts are fine, by the way.

Outside this thread, you may respond to any post and make any post, the same as any other member, so long as you do not mention your product or suggest that your product or site would be something that users should go to. That would be promotional within the meaning of the policy. This includes questions about Quantower raised outside this thread.

I'm not trying to discourage you -- quite the opposite. Just to make sure you know the policy and that you can provide useful information to the other members, within the policy's intentions and goals.

Thanks, and welcome to the forum.

Bob.

I have also had a terrible experience using Quantower. I was foolish enough to pay for 6 months lease and should've just got a month to try it out. At every turn it is buggy as hell and unreliable. Total Mickey Mouse platform. It's too bad because they seem so ambitious and have tried to incorporate so many things and so many connection options but it's just a flimsy piece of software that is just not well designed. Good luck with this platform if you're trying to execute actual orders -> Just terrible. Never again for me.
