any one have any experience trading with discounttrading.com . Looking for a discount broker that has there own platform so i can trade form phone or any computer . there platform called firetip . any other broker suggestion welcomed . thnaks

A broker with a commission discount scheme is Tradovate, https://www.tradovate.com:443/ . They have a mobile app platform as well as a desktop version.

but the writing seems standoffish and uniform like much of the site, so I wonder if it's just another shill for pay blog review site.
yes i been there about 6 months and no problems . only withdrew money twice and got it no problem . They do seem small
. You can email a lady called megan . Response with in the day . Low cost on trade .You get a free platform to trade with a ladder but no charts . I use my own charting and get feed from iqfeed . SO far no issue . what i like is they give you day time margins after hrs .as long as you are flat at 5-6 pm . think they are good for day trading . i was at thinkorswim where $5 +fees round trip . These guy $1 . but you have to pay extra for charting .
I got started with discount trading. The fees I got for one contract NQ roundtrip:
Exchange USD 2.36 DR NFA USD 0.04 DR
Brokerage USD 0.50 DR
Commission USD 1.98 DR
It also costs $3/month for instruments bundle without lvl 2. And $10/month for using CQG with NT7 (must be lifetime license older then July, 2014) which is all good with me. Yes, Meagan was very helpful, thanks. I did some trading already (on NT7) and everything works great. Happy with dt so far.
As far as the free platform with a ladder, is the ladder only available if you are already in a trade? As I think thats how the firetip demo work not sure if the real thing is the same
