Hi Everyone,

I recently exited trading Forex (using MT5) as my broker no longer accepted Canadian clients. I have settled on trading Futures and am looking to transfer my funds over to Ampfutures. I would like some advice on which platform is better suited for me, I currently have demo-ed a bunch and here's what I narrowed it down to.

About Me:
- Charting is necessary, ideally responsive with changing TFs, etc.
- DOM is nice to have to do limit orders, but not going to do any DOM scalping
- System is a MacBook (I have BootCamp installed for any Windows only platform)
- Would like a free platform or at least price built into per trade fees instead of a monthly subscription

TradingView:
- Easy to use for me, I'm familiar with the ins and outs

QTrader:
- I'd have to boot into Windows every time for a trading session
- Less intuitive, I definitely need a bit of time to figure things out
- Better support, live chat with CQG for platform specific questions.

Any other considerations I should be aware of for either platforms?

Thanks in advance

You can have CQG credentials that plug into TradingView and CQG Q Trader. You can have one login interchanged between the two, or have two separate logins linking to the same account. I hope this helps?

Thank you Matt Z, this helps very much. Since both are free platforms, I should be able to interchange between the two.
