Is there a technical reason for dumping the reconstructed TnS?
Don't know about others, but its been very useful to me.

In fact it would be great if there were "reconstructed" volume dots.

Hi, Can I access historical data, if I am using BookMap via an NT8 indicator? the video seems to suggest that I can only do it via a direct connection

Alternatively, can I use my AMP/CQG connection bypassing NT to directly download data, say just for the duration of the download?

i have see on the Bookmap website is possible.

but is possible to connect directly wiht my rithmic login on bookmap. If i can. for taking order from bookmap i need to have ninjatrader open or not ?

Hi Allonzo,

You can choose to connect Bookmap with either Rithmic or Ninja. However, it is preferable to connect directly with Rithmic, as you will bypass the API of Ninja. Rithmic for Bookmap is a great choice since they offer full depth of market for the CME, COMEX, and NYMEX exchanges. And depending on the broker, you may have the ability to simultaneously connect multiple platforms with Rithmic. Since Bookmap is a true platform, just input your Rithmic credentials directly into Bookmap, just as you would for any other platform. Ninja doesn't need to be open.

@Bookmap, do you have a list of brokers that permit simultaneously connecting multiple platforms with Rithmic? I would like to use Bookmap with Sierra Charts without the extra data fees.

Bookmap's historical data feature will not function within Ninja. You would need to connect Bookmap directly to the supported data provider or broker. Yes, CQG from AMP will display current and historical data. For more info on the historical depth download feature in Bookmap, please click here.
