Oh wow! thanks for this link Nikos. That's exactly what I need. You made my day!
I thought I would have to code it myself (in the end of the day Footprint in nothing more than a display of the bid x ask in a different way), but it would be a lot of work.

I wonder if Linnsoft could buy the Footprint engine from MD or if MD could do the same and provide it as a service to Linnsoft like the company above. Either way would be great because we users of MD would be able to continue using the footprint product as is.

As of now, there is no way I would move to MD Desktop (and again, I'm trying really hard to keep an open mind!). As you said, it seems a product from 15 years ago, very basic and needs lots of improvements just to be a match to MD Charts. I'm finding one restriction after another. I wish MD would have done a due diligence before doing this move. I feel they betrayed their customers. What a shame!

I totally agree hence I made this my priority project at the moment...
I have been a long time user of MarketDelta and this news caught me out of the blue a while back..
But hey, not a problem anymore...

Hi all,

I have been using Prorealtime but it reached its limit when using Market Profile. So I was in search of a real Market Profile platform and ended up evaluating Market Delta and Investor RT.

Market Delta seems to do it all, including their sweet FootPrint which Investor RT was missing.

Now MD suddenly switched strategy and I am evaluating Investor RT with DeltaPrint from AMS Trading group.
This looks to be the ideal combo for using market profile and 'foot prints' at an even better price point.

So what's your verdict? My understanding is that the AMS suite is primarily built for Ninjatrader and Investor RT tools are a bit basic?

I've been using the AMS suite with IRT for over a year without any issues.

I bought the lifetime version, not sure if it's still available.

Hi Keab,

Itís been 2,5 years since this post and I think Deltaprint still works for the RT Investor platform.

But I have switched to Ninja Trader and the AMS Suite has evolved and now is Deltaprint for your orderflow or footprints, (Volume) Market Profiles and Bookflow (AMS version of Bookmap)

No regrets switching to Ninja Trader which is stable and powerfull with the AMS Suite.

Greetings

Investor/RT has a number of tools in the volume-at-price and order flow analysis class that are considered by many to be the leading edge tools available to traders today.

I suggest you take look at VolumeScope: https://www.linnsoft.com/techind/volumescope-rtx

and these complementary indicators...

Price Volume Patterns: https://www.linnsoft.com/techind/pvp
Extreme Price Highlighter: https://www.linnsoft.com/techind/extremepricehighlighter-rtx
Multiple Price Highlighter: https://www.linnsoft.com/techind/multiple-price-highlighter-mph
Trade Dots: https://www.linnsoft.com/techind/trade-dots-rtx

In many ways, Investor/RT has moved far beyond basic bid/ask-traded volume displays by providing more advanced display options, tick filtering, and pattern recognition tools for order flow analysis.
