Going to use the slow time this summer to re-evaluate my broker, platform, hardware, etc.
I use Tradestation, and find I quite like the DOM. What I like is that only a mouse left click is required to place an order; the position of the cursor determines buy/sell and limit/stop. However, I'd rather have a static DOM.
I have started reviewing some other platforms, mainly by watching intro's on Youtube. It seems many of them require a right click, either to elect a Sell, or elect a Stop Order.
Does anyone have a DOM they really like where the clicking works like TS?
Also, for other reasons I am probably going to go with Rithmic data, and if I am not mistaken, Rithmic does not work with Jigsaw, so Jigsaw is not an option (mind you, I don't know how the orders are actually entered on Jigsaw).
Hi Laconic. I'm not familiar with Tradestation but by the sound of it, it works like CQG to place orders. I use QTrader and you place either limit or market orders with a single left-click (of course you need to have the order size preselected, you can customise a series of buttons for certain pre-set sizes, e.g. 1, 5, 10, 20 and so on).
Stop orders are placed by left-click and drag, on the DOM.
If I flip a coin 1,000,000 times, what are the odds of me wasting my time?

1) The NEW TT. Web based DOMs execution with one of the most used DOM in the industry
2) CQG Trader DOM. Classic, and executes with ease.
3) MultiCharts that has built a DOM that integrates into it entry and exit strategies that tiy could automate.
In my opinion this is one of the better DOMs out there because of its interface display and its capabilities.
4) MarketDelta Cloud and MarketDeltaTrader: Great visual display and design and easy to
use as an execution tool.
I hope you are not overwhelmed by this selection, however if you are, I would be more than happy to guide you for the best possible match for your trading. BTW, the platforms above are free and would match the industry standard commissions.
Have a good weekend.

Jigsaw is fine with Rithmic - it doesn't really matter which feed you have - (CQG, Rithmic, TT, eSignal) with 2 exceptions
1 - Interactive Brokers feed doesn't have a real L1 feed, so it works but is useless
2 - TD Amertitrade feed works but there's no historical tick level feed, so you can't build a volume profile if you open part way through the session.

TT, for whom I work, is the epitome of static DOM. We literally own that space. You are welcome to try the TT platform by logging into trade.tt and creating your own demo account. Feel free to ping me with any questions.
